A group of siblings attempt to sell their grandfather's theater to solve their financial problems. However, the grandfather leaves a will stipulating that the heirs must reopen the theater and present 12 plays there, or the theater will be owned by the state. The grandchildren are left in a state of confusion because of their inability to operate the theater, yet they simultaneously need their grandfather's inheritance.
