Bahlol is a kind-hearted, obedient, and helpful man, who cannot keep secrets. After Bahlol and his mother find a treasure, the mother fears revealing the secret and warns him against it, but his nature gets the better of him and he gets himself and his mother into trouble, from which they escape thanks to the mother's intelligence and he learns the lesson of keeping household secrets.
