As the Shen family gets ready to reopen Harmony Dumplings, they discover that they have become the latest victims of a crime wave that has struck their Chinatown community.

A character from Nicky's past makes an appearance, Jin takes charge of the Chinatown Council, while Evan and Althea look into the city's rising crime rates.

Nicky travels to Thailand to lend Henry a hand. Jin and Althea join forces to help Mei-Li reorganize the Harmony Dumplings, while Ryan receives relationship advice.

The Shen family receives a puzzling threat on the eve of Harmony Dumplings' reopening, while Jin deals with a new challenge and Ryan struggles to get the best present for Sebastian.

Nicky is forced to put her relationship with Bo on hold while she tries to assist Pei-Ling. Sebastian expresses his concerns to Mei-Li regarding corporate's increasing oversight of the restaurant. Althea and Evan assist Jin after valuable research are stolen from a local politician.

In order to rescue Pei-Ling, Nicky decides to help stop the Harvester. Sebastian's past haunts him disturbingly and Mei-Li is asked to fire him, while Jin rejects a tempting offer.

After her latest mission reveals shocking information about Xiao, Nicky and the team hatch a plan to eliminate her once and for all. Evan gets advice from Althea about his relationship with Nadia. Jin gets ready for his first job interview.

After an incident involving her parents, Nicky discovers a dangerous secret, while Mei-Li becomes creative in the restaurant, and Bo struggles with ghosts from his past.

A negative advertising campaign targets the Shens, so Mei-Li decides to take action, Ryan meets a family friend at the hospital and makes a troubling discovery, and Nicky discovers what Delta is planning for the people of San Francisco.

As her world crumbles around her, Nicky has to reexamine her recent actions going forward, while Althea goes undercover to gather more information about Delta, and Henry and Zhilan follow a lead that reveals Xiao's location.

In order to get information about Xiao's whereabouts before time runs out, Nicky has to face Bo, while Mei-Li locks horns with Carrie at Harmony Dumplings, and Jin makes an unexpected decision that could alter the outcome of the election.

Henry is on a head-on clash with Xiao, whose recent plan has disastrous consequences for Nicky and her family.

After Xiao's grand plan is revealed, Nicky and the team have to do their best to stop her before they run out of time.
