Adel is looking for an apartment to proceed with marrying his fiancée, Elham. At the same time, Magdy proposes to Adel's sister, Laila, but Adel refuses because Magdy is poor.

As Adel causes Magdy to be transferred from work, the broker offers Adel to sell his mother’s house for a large sum of money, so Adel tries to convince his older brother Mohamed to agree. On the other hand, Elham meets the businessman Essam, who catches her attention with his wealth.

Essam showers Elham with money and gifts and asks her to marry him. So, she leaves Adel. Adel's mother tries to convince Laila to marry Hatem, and Amina, Mohamed's wife, tries to convince him to sell the house so that their financial situation improves.

The broker, Fathi, offers Adel to sell his family's house in exchange for a huge price, but Adel discovers that Fathi is a con artist. On the other hand, Essam tries to convince Adel to accept a bribe in exchange for facilitating his work at the agency.

Adel's mother refuses to sell the family house, suffers a heart attack, and is taken to the hospital. Laila insists on breaking off her engagement to Hatem because she doesn't love him. Essam plans to trap Adel and file a report accusing him of receiving a bribe.

To please his mother, Adel agrees with Fathi to sell one room of the house. Laila tells Hatem that she does not love him, and Mohamed decides to pay for his mother's surgery despite his wife Amina's objection, so he divorces her.

Mahmoud tries to reconcile his brother, Mohamed, and Amina, but Adel convinces Mohamed to marry his colleague at work, Thuraya. On the other hand, Laila is forced to continue her relationship with Hatem as he is helping with her mother's treatment, but Hatem refuses.

As Umm Adel regains her health and returns home, she blames her son Mohamed for divorcing his wife and asks him to bring her back home. On the other hand, Adel agrees to Magdy's engagement to Laila.

Amina covets Mohamed's family home, so she suggests that they live in the house and rent her apartment. Adel leaks information about one of the department's tenders to a client in exchange for a sum of money, and the department's manager is accused of the matter.

As Issam divorces Elham due to her infertility, Adel marries his colleague Madiha and lives in his family's home. Moreover, Adel gets promoted to be the manager of the department after the previous manager is fired.

As Adel decides to marry Elham to take over her apartment, Mahmoud scolds his mother for leaving the house. Madiha discovers Adel's marriage to Elham, so she files for divorce so she can take over the family house. Adel is forced to return to his mother.
