The events revolve around Ali Qandil’s insistence on marrying his daughter, Ayat, after her separation from her husband, Sherif, and his refusal to let Noha, Ayat's daughter, marry her colleague Nader due to his poverty. So Noha turns to her father, Sherif, to help her.

Ali suffers a heart attack and is taken to the hospital. Sherif quarrels with his wife, Asmaa, over his promise to Noha to cover her wedding expenses, so Sherif leaves the house.

Ali is discharged from the hospital and marries nurse Laila secretly. Sherif tells his sister, Fatima, of his desire to marry Ayat again.

Ali tells Ayat about his marriage, and Sherif tries to get closer to Ayat in order to return to her.

Ali and Laila stay at Ayat's house. Ayat's children go to their father after their quarrel with Ali, and Ayat refuses to marry Adnan, Ali's friend.

Sherif sets the date for Noha's wedding, and Ayat and Amina begin preparing for the wedding and hide the matter from Ali. When Asmaa tells Ali about it, he goes to quarrel with Sherif.

Noha and Nader get married, and Ayat attends the wedding at Sherif’s house, which ignites the fire of jealousy in Asmaa’s heart, so she quarrels with Sherif.

Ali quarrels with Laila because Amr blames him for marrying her, so she withholds his medication and he is transferred to the hospital. Sherif’s disputes with Asmaa continue because of Ayat.

Laila seizes Ali’s villa by judicial order, and Sherif restores it to him, taking advantage of Ali’s immunity. Sherif marries Ayat without Asmaa's or Ali’s knowledge.

Asmaa begins to doubt Ali's actions. The latter returns from the hospital and then to the villa.

Sherif's children find out from Asmaa that he has returned to Ayat. Ali is still unaware of Sherif's return to Ayat and refuses to marry them. Asmaa begins following Sherif.

Ali agrees to Sherif's return to Ayat. Laila gives birth to a child with a genetic defect from Ali. Asmaa discovers Sherif's return to Ayat, and Ayat asks Sherif to separate from Asmaa.

Laila exchanges her son with another healthy one, so Ali goes to the private lawyer and threatens to sue her. Ayat gets pregnant from Sherif.

Noha gives birth to a boy, as well as Ayat. Ayat reconciles with Asmaa, and the two families live happily. Ali asks to marry Fatima, Sherif’s sister.
