The events revolve around Hegg's discovery of quantities of heroin hidden in a truck. Hegg learns that the person responsible for the entry and distribution of the heroin is a senator, so he tries to accuse him and bring him before the court. But as he fails to achieve this, he is left with no solution but to kill the senator.
