Saleh lives in the Bab El Oued neighborhood and owns a store where he plays cards. Abdel-Haq tries to raise his two children together despite the neighborhood being full of drug dealers. Bilal suffers from epilepsy and has a seizure at night, so his father rushes him to the hospital.
The child, Raouf, works with Rida in distributing drugs. Saliha asks Rida to stay away from Raouf and warns him that she will tell Abdel-Haq. Allam takes care of his mother's treatment, and Hamza asks Zakia to stay away from Rida.
Abdel-Haq dies after falling from an elevation in his workplace. Allam gives Salih a sum of money to hand it over to Houria, Abdel-Haq's wife. He also pays her husband's debts. Allam quarrels with his brother Rida because of his deviation.
Allam asks Houria that he marry her, but she refuses and kicks him out. As she goes to work in her sons' school as a cleaner, the children bully her two sons. Raouf beats his colleague until he faints.
Raouf is arrested and imprisoned, so Allam sends a lawyer to defend him, but the child who was beaten by Raouf dies, so Houria fears for her son from entering the reformatory, while Rida gets engaged to Zakia.
Allam works with Jwaideh in the illegal antiquities trade. Zakia works with Rida in distributing narcotic pills. Houria, the school principal, begs the officer to testify regarding Raouf's case, but she refuses.
Zakia steals a piece of jewelry belonging to Allam, and he threatens to kill her if she does not return it, while she denies taking it. Allam hides from the police with his friend. Raouf is sentenced to prison, and the lawyer requests an appeal.
Zakia gives the piece of jewelry to Saliha so that she can sell it to her, so the latter agrees with Houria to go to Juwaida to sell it after they learn from the jeweler that it is an antique. Rida gets imprisoned.
Houria pretends in front of Saliha that she sells the antique to Juwaida and gives her the money she borrowed from Hamza. Allam's men search for the piece of jewelry at Houria's, but she denies having it, while her husband's heirs demand that she vacate the house.
Allam's mother dies, so he comes to the house in disguise to say goodbye to her before burying her. Juwaida asks one of her men to bring her a piece of jewelry from Houria in exchange for a sum of money.
Houria travels with Hamza, Allam escapes through the border with Rasheed's help, and Halima takes care of his affairs.
Allam is arrested and imprisoned on remand. Houria is robbed by a businessman's men who take her and Hamza to his palace, and she agree with him to sell him the piece of jewelry.
Milano tells Juwaida's business manager that Houria is protecting him. Rida, Allam, and Raouf are released from prison. The latter is surprised by the new home and how rich his mother has become.
Raouf wonders about the source of his mother and brother's wealth, so Houria tells him about the jewelry she sold, but he does not believe it. Allam asks to marry Houria, but she refuses, so he threatens to stand in her way.
The relationship between Nawal and Bilal gets stronger, but her uncle Hamza is not satisfied with this relationship. Rida convinces Raouf of the existence of a relationship between Hamza and his mother. Allam plans to take revenge on Houria for refusing to marry him.
Hamza enters the intensive care unit after being beaten by whom Houria thinks are Allam's men. She quarrels with him and asks Saliha to accompany her to the police station to report him. Razeqa hides Hamza's documents in the factory amidst Bilal's anger.
Hamza dies and Saliha is shocked. Allam hands a young man who beat Hamza over to Saliha so that she may take revenge on him.
A video spreads on social media of Nawal drinking alcohol with Allam, so Saliha hits her, and Houria asks Bilal to stay away from Nawal.
Houria complains about Allam, despite Bilal's opposition to her, while Allam decides to sell his goods through Nawal's account on social media, amid Halima's anger and jealousy of the girl.
Houria's factory goes bankrupt, so she is forced to sell her house and jewelry. Allam quarrels with Bilal and threatens him that he will tell everyone about his participation in Hamza's murder.
Houria agrees with Juwaida to work with her. Raouf discovers Bilal's incitement to kill Hamza. Allam meets Houria by chance and asks her to forget the past and accept marrying him.
Allam agrees with Enas to work together, so Halima becomes jealous, and Allam asks her not to interfere in his work. Saliha quarrels with Nawal, while Houria refuses to marry Bilal. Zakia returns to the neighborhood and meets Rida accompanied by her son.
Zakia and her son live with Rida after telling him of her husband's death. Allam quarrels with Halima and kicks her out of the house. Nawal goes with Bilal to his apartment and they spend a while alone.
The police are looking for Bilal, who escapes. Houria is afraid he might get arrested, so Allam threatens to take revenge on him after remembering that he raped her in the past. Saliha quarrels with Nawal after learning of her affair with Bilal.
Bilal is arrested while trying to escape outside Algeria. Allam commits suicide after talking to Halima and Rasheed, who urges him to take care of Houria and Raouf. Rida marries Zakia.
