Salah sells the refrigerator, but his wife scolds him. Later on, she gives him money to buy goods, but they get surprised by the high prices.

Lina gets close to Salah and Fati because of her parents' neglect of her, so Salah goes with her to the school to meet the principal, promising him that he will pay the tuition after a week, which embarrasses Lina's parents.

Salah agrees with Fati that he will feign sickness so as not to pay the money he borrowed from his neighbors and friends, who visit him and give him money for treatment, but his wife gets angry and asks him to look for work instead of fraud.

Salah and Fati realize how important water is when the water supply cuts off, upon which Salah takes advantage of the situation and sells water to the neighbors at a high price.

Salah installs a surveillance camera at the apartment's entrance because the door is broken down, while Fati is afraid. In the morning, Fati discovers that the apartment has been robbed and the camera has been stolen.

Fati creates a channel on social media after Salah tells her that she can earn money online. As her channel gradually becomes popular, Fati makes a lot of money.

As Salah holds a thief in his house, the latter tells him that he steals because he wishes to go to prison to avoid visits from his neighbors who give him gifts, so Salah decides to work with him despite Fati's refusal.

As Salah is held in a detention prison on the first day of Ramadan for beating the neighborhood children, Fati goes to the police station to have him released.

Salah agrees with his two friends to steal Fati's money so that she will not suspect that he is the thief, but when they discover that the sum is incomplete, they return it to Fati and expose him.

The owner of the house evicts Salah and Fati for not paying the rent, and when he accepts them back, they tell him that he should consider them as new tenants, so he drops the lawsuit he filed.

As Fati cooks meals, Salah delivers them to customers after stealing a delivery man's bike. Salah gets beaten by a customer who refuses to pay the bill.

Salah sells his wife's clothes to his neighbors, and when she finds out, he retrieves the clothes but does not return the money to his neighbor. Salah takes Fati to the restaurant, and after dinner, he leaves her so that she'd pay the bill.

Salah sells books and school supplies after taking Fati's savings and promises her to return the money when the project grows, but customers only buy cheap paper.

As Salah works out to be physically fit, Fati rejoices and asks him to take care of what he eats as well. A deviant tries to steal Fati's phone, so she asks her husband to beat him, but as he runs away, she beats him herself.

Fati works as a saleswoman in a store and gives half of her salary to Salah in return for his cleaning the house and preparing food. As Salah takes goods from the store and refuses to pay for them, Fati gets fired from work.

As Salah goes to the bathroom and Fati waits for him, Salah comes back beaten in the face and tells his wife that someone hit him after he refused to give him lemons.

Salah sells tires on the street and takes the neighborhood's children to sing and attract people's attention, but the neighbors scold him for the noise and throw vegetables and flour at Fati.

As Salah guards employees' cars and washes them for money, he brings motorcycles into his house so that the owners take them and give him money, which angers Fati.

Salah rents a taxi to work as a driver, so Fati rides with him on trips and refuses to drive any girl because of her jealousy over him. At night, Salah returns the key to the taxi owner and informs him that the police have seized the car.

Salah and Fati buy a goat to slaughter it on Eid al-Adha, then Salah slaughters it a week later without the permission of Fati, who got very attached to the goat, and yet she eats the meat and laments over it.

Singer Hatim Ammor hits Salah with his car and takes him to his house. Fati faints from happiness at seeing the singer, while Salah asks him for money in exchange for not exposing him and reporting him to the police.

Fati's sister, her husband, and her son go to stay at Fati's house for a while after the landlord evicted them, upon which Salah gets angry and leaves the house.

Salah and Fati agree to divorce and divide the apartment between them into two halves. During a football match, Salah goes out to celebrate on the street, so Fati closes the door and refuses to let him in.

Fati establishes an association to defend women's rights and records the complaints of women in the neighborhood, upon which Salah becomes jealous of her and establishes an association to defend men's rights.

Salah goes out with Fati to celebrate Valentine's Day in a low-class restaurant and gives her a basket of vegetables and a chicken, upon which she despairs and cries while he laughs at her.

Fati gets an eye disease, so the doctor puts a bandage on them, and Salah flirts with the nurse without Fati seeing him, so the girl slaps him, and when they return home, Salah invites his friends to play cards without Fati noticing them, and she finds out three days later.

Salah makes a wood fireplace to heat the house, and while igniting it, the house is set on fire, so Fati saves Salah, and they run away from the house.

Fati begs Salah to take her on a plane ride, and he agrees. However, the pilot loses control of the plane, and Salah lands it amid Fati's joy.

Salah and Fati take items that are not allowed in a hotel, such as a gas bottle. As Salah changes the decoration of the hotel room, he and his wife get kicked out, and his stuff get thrown outside.

Fati prepares sweets on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, then goes with her husband to visit the family. When they return home, they argue that Salah's mother has admonished Fati for not having children.
