The film follows the journey of the suffering of a group of immigrants from sub-Saharan Africa, as each one of them holds the hope of crossing to the other side of the Mediterranean illegally to improve his social status and change the circumstances of the family he left behind, only to fall victim to the greed of human traffickers.
