Ted Templeton, an adult, is forced to assume a childlike role after being accused of a significant corporate crime. He goes undercover with his brother Tim, posing as one of his kids, and his niece Tina becomes an obstacle in his attempt to reclaim his former career.
Teddy chooses to start a new business with Tina in order to help parents of hard-to-love kids. In the meantime, the Templeton family investigates a puppy-related side business for the business.
