As police detective Abu Mubarak investigates the murder of Ahmed, he discovers that there were problems between Sultan and Ahmed, as well as between him and Abrar, and the latter’s agreement with Khaled to get rid of Ahmed.

During the interrogation, Abu Mubarak puts pressure on Abrar, who confesses to Ahmed’s previous harassment of her, her mother’s psychological condition after Abrar's father cheated on her, and her marriage to Ahmed despite the large age difference between them.

Abu Mubarak interrogates Salah about his problems with Maryam and Ahmed because they rejected his marriage to Abrar, and his agreement with the latter to get rid of Ahmed. Abu Mubarak accuses Sultan of killing Ahmed, and summons Maryam, who agrees with Mary to seize the lottery ticket.

The interrogation begins with Maryam, and Abu Mubarak reveals the circumstances that brought her together with Ahmed, and how he married her despite her children’s refusal.

Maryam tells Abu Mubarak that Ahmed had seized her money and cheated on her, and problems had arisen between them. Abu Mubarak discovers that Khaled, Maryam’s son, killed Ahmed in retaliation.
