Following India's 1947 division, asylum seeker Bishan Singh finds himself in the middle of a cross-border exchange of insane individuals between Pakistan and India. However, he refuses to leave Lahore after discovering that Pakistan is where he was born, leaving him stuck between the two nations and raising concerns about what it means to be a native land in a divided world.
