Hiam is married to Hassan, a Palestinian who is a naturalized British citizen. They decide to travel to England so that he can complete his studies, but midway there, Hassan is taken prisoner by Israeli soldiers. After this incident, Hiam asks Hassan to stay in Palestine and play a role in its liberation.
