Majid and his wife die due to being infected with the Spanish flu, and Umm Abdullah convinces her husband to take Majid’s son to raise him. Years pass, and the child grows up, and they name him Abdullah.

The American traveler, Lusher, comes to Kuwait. When Bilal returns to Kuwait, Abu Muqbil hides Dahbash’s death from him. On the other hand, Bazza seeks to ask for Munira's hand in marriage for her son, Muqbil.

Munira's father rejects her marriage to Abdul Karim as she is engaged to her cousin, Muqbil. The latter tells his father that Majid’s Indian wife has given birth and that Sultan is looking for them to give her her inheritance after Majid’s death. Bilal tells Abu Khaled about the death of Shamma and her son.

Saeeda informs Fadda that Abdullah is Majid's son from his Indian wife, so Abu Muqbil asks his son to collect information about Abdullah so that he can hand him over his inheritance from his father. Muqbil is thinking about marrying Sabika.

Abu Muqbil consoles Abu Dawud for the loss of his business and the death of his brother. Bilal tells Al-Mutawa about the death of his Indian wife, and Umm Dawud asks Saeeda to tell her everything about Majid's son.

Abu Muhammad thinks that Ubaid has stolen from Abu Muqbil's store, so the judge sentences him to punishment. Bilal tries to pay the money for Ubaid, while Abu Dawud convinces his son of the necessity of marriage and asks his wife to search for a bride for him.

Ubaid is proven innocent, and the imam of the mosque advises the people to prepare for the difficult phase that the village is going through due to hunger and poverty. On the other hand, Dawud asks his father to ask for Shamma’s hand in marriage.

Bilal tells Ubaid that difficult years will come to the town. He warns Dahbash about this and asks him to prepare by gathering food and money for this time. Saeeda informs Bazza that Muqbil refuses to marry Munira.

Sultan informs Al-Mutawa of his failure to find his deceased nephew. When Abdul Qadir arrives in town, he tells Sultan about the poverty and hunger that are spreading among the nearby villages. Bilal refuses to return to India with the English soldiers.

Abu Dawud asks Abu Muhammad to help him reach Majid's son. Abu Muhammad tries to collect information from the merchants. He turns to Saeeda to tell him about what happened the night of Majid’s death during the Year of Mercy.

Al-Mutawa asks merchants not to store goods and then sell them at high prices to avoid problems. Ubaid stays away from the market so as not to come into contact with Abu Muhammad. Abu Muqbil tells his wife about the spread of hunger in Najd.

Unidentified persons assault Muqbil by beating him. Bilal tells Al-Mutawa about a dream he had that explains the state of hunger and poverty that the country is experiencing.

Abu Dahham bids his family farewell to travel in search of food. Salha prepares for her wedding, and Al-Mutawa asks the town governor to stop the punishment for theft due to the spread of poverty and hunger.

Abu Dahham dies on the way and entrusts Abu Suleiman with having his family travel to Abu Muqbil. Abu Muhammad is still searching for any information about Majed.

Abu Muhammad meets Abu Abdul Wahhab and gathers information about Sultan’s brother. Muqbil rejects his father’s request to marry his cousin Munira. Abu Muqbil discovers the death of his brother, Abu Dahham.

Abu Muqbil feels sorry that he did not see his brother before he passed away. He also fights with his son and makes him feel bad about not letting him marry Munira. Sultan advises Abu Dawud to get goods before they reach famine. Abu Muhammad tells Sultan that his brother's son has passed away.

Muqbil leaves the house after an argument with his father. Dawud informs his mother about his cousin's death, ensuring that the inheritance will not be split, but Sultan insists on donating most of his brother's money. The lives of Umm Dahham and her children deteriorate, and they have nothing to eat.

Many countries resort to Kuwait due to widespread hunger and poverty. Sultan and his son Dawud fight because the latter refuses to let his father donate all of his late brother's money. People in Najd scream for help after a long period without rain.

Issa buys a large house and puts supplies in it for all the refugees. Abu Muhammad quarrels with Bilal. Sultan gets angry when his son searches the properties' books and documents to count everything before distributing them.

Shamma quarrels with Dawud and leaves the house. Abu Muqbil revolts and Al Mutawa tries to reconcile the matter between him and Abu Dawud. Ubaid catches a thief trying to rob Abu Muhammad's shop.

Shamma refuses to return to Dawud. Abu Humaidan informs Abu Muqbil that Dawud agreed with him to falsely claim the death of his cousin so that Sultan would not give him his inheritance.

Abu Muqbil decides to get Dawud to divorce Shamma due to his dishonesty and devouring the orphan's property. On the way, Rasheed’s friends think about slaughtering the child Dahham and eating him out of extreme hunger, but they find Fifi’s dog.

Sultan agrees to Dawud and Shamma getting divorced. Dawud meets Abu Humaidan and is afraid to tell Sultan the truth about his nephew’s death.

Shamma proposes the marriage of Muqbil to Sabika. Dawud asks the captain to mediate with Sultan until he is satisfied with him and forgives him.

Abu Humaidan dies, and Haila’s husband permits eating dead meat so that people do not die of hunger and considers eating his young son. Dawud asks his father to dive into the sea to make money.

Abu Muqbil tells Al-Mutawa that Abu Humaidan was murdered and the money in his possession was stolen. Umm Dawud asks Sultan to ask for Sabika's hand in marriage for their son Dawud.

Abu Muqbil becomes angry when he learns of Dawud’s engagement to Sabika. He tells Al-Mutawa about Dawud deceiving his father and telling him that his brother’s son died. Bilal tries to collect information about Ubaid’s family.

Sheikh Rashid informs Abu Muhammad that Sultan's nephew has not died. Abu Muhammad is angry about Bilal's performing ruqya (exorcism) for the people. Abu Muqbil asks his son to travel to his cousin Mounira.

Abu Muhammad informs Abu Rashid that Ubaid is Majid's son, whom Sultan is looking for, and Mounira agrees to marry Hamdan.

Muqbil arrives at his cousin Mounira and asks her that they get married before consummating her marriage to Hamdan. Ubaid and Shamma get engaged. Rain falls and everyone rejoices at the arrival of goodness.
