The former undersecretary Bahgat Al Ansari lives with his two grandchildren, Omar and Jamila, and tries to get money to meet their needs by resorting to the kiosk seller, Nanaa, and the teacher, Abdul Badie, while Irfan refuses his wife Alia’s request to travel to their son in Canada.

As Nanaa is arrested on charges of selling phone lines without contracts, Bahgat is also arrested because he is her partner in the kiosk, while the lawyer Khaled searches for a way to prove Bahgat's innocence.

Bahgat is released, while Hanafi pays Nanaa's bail in an attempt to get closer to her sister, Folla. Omar agrees to work in a shady job online, while Tita and his two friends fail to impress the audience after singing at a wedding.

Bahgat is summoned in a tax evasion case, and it's revealed that his partner in the educational center, Abdul Badie, is embezzling money for his benefit. Bahgat and Lubna remember the feelings that brought them together in the past.

As Hanafi partners up with Nanaa, he asks Bahgat to buy his share in the kiosk. Someone threatens Jamila with an obscene picture that she had sent to Mahmoud.

It's revealed that Basant, Jamila's friend, is the one behind leaking her picture. Abdul Badie is summoned in a tax evasion case after evidence emerged against him. Dancer Lola cooperates with Tita and helps him achieve fame, to Folla's jealousy.

Bahgat discovers that Omar deceived him and took money from him under the pretext of taking educational courses. Omar quarrels with Jamila after learning about her relationship with Mahmoud, after which he leaves the house and stays with his friend Osama.

Bahgat tries to solve the problems of the educational center after taking over its management. He also consoles Lubna after learning that her daughter and grandchildren declined to visit her from America. Hanafi asks Nanaa for Folla's hand in marriage, and the latter asks Tita not to abandon her.

Alia tries to find out what Irfan is hiding from her, while he meets Souad, who offers to help him in his project to sell medical mixtures. Bahgat gives advice to the students of the educational center, but he is shocked by their objection to what he says.

After Irfan opens the medical mixtures shop, he asks Souad to marry him. Folla agrees to marry Hanafi after Lola falsely claims that she will marry Tita. Bahgat calls on his YouTube followers to love each other before it's too late.

Omar continues to work on shady deals on the dark web, while Jamila takes narcotic pills. Bahgat makes adjustments in the educational center to help students, much to Abdul Badie's discontent.

Bahgat falls ill, after which Omar comes to check on him. Tita leaves work with Lola and asks Folla to return to him. Farid asks Omar to hack into the data of bank customers, while Omar discovers that Farid has a mysterious past.

After his shop was closed for not having a permit, Irfan marries Souad. Alia travels abroad to her son, and Irfan is saddened by her departure. Omar and Bahgat discover that Jamila is using narcotic substances. Nanaa ends her partnership with Hanafi, telling him that Folla doesn't want to marry him.

Lubna decides to travel without telling anyone her destination. Tita returns to his friends and they record new songs. Omar discovers that Bahgat was the reason Farid's father was sent to prison in the past for tampering with the foundations of a building that collapsed on its residents.

Bahgat confronts Farid, who has hatched a plan to take revenge on Omar for what his grandfather did to his father. After he assaults Omar, Farid dies while escaping from the police. Irfan travels to his wife and son, while Omar recovers. Bahgat calls on his followers to keep searching for true joy.
