Three stories are set in three distinct eras. A young, aristocratic Sudanese woman proves herself in Egypt after being rejected for a royal marriage, a young French prince escapes death and lives in the woods, becoming a hero who helps others, and a poor Turkish prince decides to see the Princess of Roses, who has been hiding for years.
