Shamardal starts his new job at the newspaper headed by Laila, who tries to support Amal in her problems with her husband, Hamad, and controls all the employees.

Haya advises Nawal to confront her husband about his cheating on her. Laila assigns Shamardal and Mai to distribute the newspaper's leaflets. As per her and Mishaal's plan, Rawan disguises herself and impersonates a makeup artist in order to find out information about some actress.

Laila is surprised when actress Maysaa threatens to file a lawsuit against the newspaper after defaming her. Mai and Shamardal try to calm things down, and the latter seeks to spoil his father's marriage to the Indian maid.

Muhammad proposes to Mai, but Sheikha believes that he is asking to marry her. Laila offers the newspaper employees to apply for the position of editor to cover war events, so Mai applies for the job and Shamardal refuses.

Mai's aunt refuses to let her go on a business trip, so Laila asks Shamardal to look for a replacement for Mai if she does not travel. Nawal claims that Haya is engaged so that Hamad will stay away from her.

Rawan is kidnapped by a gang, so Mishaal calls on everyone to help find her whereabouts. Sheikha meets Adel and they like each other. Haya is worried about Nawal finding out about her relationship with her husband.

Mai promises to help Laila strengthen her relationship with Ammar, and Haya disappears after her quarrel with Hamad because he cheated on her.

As Sheikha seeks to find Adel so she can meet him again, Shamardal feigns illness to prevent him from meeting her, while Haya tries to contact Ammar in order to make Hamad jealous.

Laila is upset when Ammar announces his engagement to Haya, and Hamad decides to travel far for the same reason. Laila considers telling Ammar that she loves him, and Walid decides to propose marriage to Mai.

As Nawal confronts Haya and Hamad about their relationship, she asks them to announce their marriage. Sheikha and Adel get married.

Laila asks Mishaal to tell Ammar that she is Jana. Nawal agrees to Haya’s formal engagement to her husband Hamad, and Mishaal is kicked out of his apartment.

Rawan tells Walid about Shamardal’s relationship with Mai. As Haya and Hamad return from their honeymoon, quarrels begin between them and Nawal.

Haya prevents Hamad from accompanying Nawal as she takes their son to the doctor. Laila asks Mishaal to tell Ammar directly that she loves him, and Shamardal seeks to patch things up with Mai.

Mishaal warns Laila about Ammar's average social level, and the latter agrees to enter into a sham marriage with her. Mai decides to seek help from a psychiatrist, and Adel tells Sheikha that Shamardal loves Mai. Haya rages when she learns of Nawal's pregnancy.

Haya sets up surveillance cameras in the house and asks Mishaal to help her terminate Nawal's pregnancy. Rawan disguises herself as Ammar's grandmother to help him finalize his marriage to Laila.

Laila assigns Mai and Shamardal to go to a children's school on a new mission. There, Mai professes her love for Shamardal, and on the night of her and Walid's wedding, the latter leaves the wedding, making a sacrifice so that Mai can marry Shamardal.

Nawal thinks that Haya does not know that she is pregnant, so she tries to hide it from her. Rawan asks Mishaal to collect his things from her house, and Ammar proposes to Laila to rent a separate house, while Shamardal is upset by Mai’s many requests.

The relationship between Haya and her husband becomes tense. Sheikha announces to everyone that she is pregnant. The coronavirus pandemic spreads, forcing everyone to stay in their homes. Laila asks Ammar to make their marriage official.

After Ammar wins a prize and buys the newspaper, his behavior towards Laila and the employees changes. Shamardal and Mai go back to doing reports for the newspaper. Haya plots with Mishaal to claim the kidnapping of Nawal’s children to break her heart.

Sheikha collapses when Adel's first wife returns to the house, and she quarrels with him. Laila complains about Ammar's bad treatment of her after he took over as newspaper director. Nawal tries to stay away from Haya's problems so she can enjoy a quiet life.

Ammar tries to harass Haya. Laila hides the secret of her sister's epilepsy, and Hamad disappears after a big quarrel between Haya and Nawal.

Ammar tries to convince Haya to ask for a divorce. An argument breaks out between Shamardal and Mai, and the latter complains that he does not care about her. Laila decides to sell all her property.

Walid’s mother seeks to get closer to Rola so that she can get her married to him. Mai seeks to solve the problem of Shamardal’s friend’s bullying. Ammar becomes blind, and the newspaper closes down, so Shamardal and Mai decide to look for other jobs.

Hamad decides to travel to take a break from Nawal and Haya's quarrels. Sheikha asks Shamardal to celebrate Mai's birthday, and Laila takes care of Ammar and does not leave him after he has gone blind.

Mai is upset about Shamardal's gift to her and feels that he is stingy. As Laila issues decisions in the newspaper, Rawan submits her resignation, while Nawal falls ill and is taken to the hospital. Shamardal is jealous after Kamal returns to work for the newspaper.

Laila fires Haya from work, and the latter tries to apologize to Nawal for betraying her and marrying Hamad. Ammar agrees to hold his and Laila’s wedding, and it turns out he’s been colluding with Mishaal about pretending that he’s blind.

Walid's mother asks for Rawan’s hand in marriage for her son. Shamardal and Mai experience embarrassing situations because of the trashy content they present. Laila asks Mishaal to get rid of Saif's mother, so Mishaal tries to convince Rawan to steal from Walid's mother and run away with him.

After Shamardal accepts the presence of his baby brother, Sheikha’s son, Mai asks that they have children, but the doctor tells his family that he has cancer. Hamad divorces Haya, and Laila has Saif's mother imprisoned.

It turns out that Laila has impersonated her sister and seized all of her property, and she becomes certain that Ammar is not blind, while Shamardal undergoes surgery.

Shamardal disappears and everyone searches for him. As Mai gives birth to her baby girl, Shamardal comes back to her, while Mishaal marries Rawan, and Hamad helps Nawal get her first novel published.
