Jen interrupts Tasha and Jack's anniversary dinner following a string of awkward situations. Tasha asks Jack to stop communicating with Jen out of fear upon being aware of Jen's strong ties to Jack's family.

Tasha falls into paranoia as she starts to think that Jen is pursuing her daughter rather than her husband, as Jen stays around Jack and Tasha's family life. When Emily vanishes, her fears come true.

In her desperate attempt to retrieve her daughter, Tasha will stop at nothing to uncover the truth, even if it means accepting Jen's unexpected offer of assistance. The truth of Tasha's marriage is eventually revealed as they find Jack.

Jen is forced to make a difficult decision, and Tasha's desire to see her daughter again drives her to go beyond. Some people struggle to survive a road accident, while others escape to a new life unbound by their past.
