Taj works as a boxing coach, and uses it as a cover for his squad, who are fighting the French occupation in Syria. The attempt to assassinate Colonel Jules fails, and five years later Taj works in a tailoring workshop because everyone was against him after the assassination of Amer.

Taj receives a visit from his ex-wife Nouran, who asks to take their daughter Salma to live with her, but he refuses. Nouran marries Riyad and goes with him to his house. Salim goes to Taj and tells him that the traitor who reported their whereabouts is called Khayat, and asks to help him steal files from the French archives, but he refuses.

Taj is trying to get money in advance from all his acquaintances so that he can get rid of his bond problem. Riyad sends a warning through the police to Taj to quickly repay, and Taj is forced to give up his daughter to Nouran and Riyad and decides to return to work with Salim.

Taj goes with Zizi and Salim, disguised as the coach, during a boxing match. Salim tries to steal the files but fails. Riyad opens a ready-to-wear clothing factory, and disagreements begin to arise between him and Nouran.

As Syria becomes independent from France, Salim, and Taj try to reach the secret files in the archives again. Taj impersonates an officer in an attempt to enter the barracks, but he is arrested and Salim escapes.

Salim hides the secret files before he is arrested. The wounded, including Taj and Sobhi, are taken to the National Hospital, claiming that they are French soldiers after disguising themselves. Taj goes to Dr. Marion’s house and asks her for help.

Colonel Jules asks Riyad to run for parliament and interrogates Salim to find out his connection to Sobhi’s escape from the hospital. As Riyad tries to frame Nouran’s cousin Omar because he is in the student union at the university to find out any information from him, Nouran and Nada see the maid with Riyad.

Nouran asks her father to divorce her from Riyad, so he asks her to think again so that she does not become divorced again. Taj takes pictures of Zakaria with a girl in his hotel room and sends him the pictures to blackmail him into getting Salim out.

Taj informs Salim that he stole the files and asks him to hide in a safe place. As British agent Jenny blackmails Ryiad with the files she has, Jules imprisons Zakaria to find out how Salim escaped. On the other hand, Jules’ attempt to kidnap Jenny to take the files from her fails.

Jenny wants Taj to help her in an operation in exchange for the files. As Nouran returns to Riyad’s house after their parents attempt to reconcile between them, she discovers a secret room in the basement of Riyad’s house that he uses for illegal business. Henry comes out of his coma and goes to Taj’s house to kidnap him.

Nouran tells her father about the basement room, which contains clothes and toys. Riyad invites Nouran’s father to the basement after hiding the goods to convince him that Nouran is lying. Hanan, Taj’s niece, is arrested in demonstrations at the university. Henry tortures Taj and agrees with him to release him for a week until he returns the files.

Riyad goes to the police station and succeeds in getting the students out. As Taj continues trying to get the files from Jenny, Sobhi asks Taj for Afaf's hand in marriage, Taj's niece. Taj catches a man watching him and his team, who confesses that Riyad sent him.

Jenny succeeds in getting what she wants with Taj's help in exchange for giving him the files, but Jules arrests Jenny. On the other hand, Hanan blames Taj for believing that he is working with the French, and Taj is arrested to be interrogated regarding Sobhi.

Jules meets with Taj, becomes suspicious of him, and interrogates him. As Salim hides with Dr. Marion, Nouran finds pictures of torture in the basement of the house. Henry attacks Taj’s house and attacks Hanan, so her mother stabs him, however, Sobhi confesses that he is the one who killed him instead of her, and Taj is released.

The French officers search for Taj in his sister's house, and Afaf goes to Riyad to ask for his help regarding the arrest of Sobhi. Nouran and Taj's family discover that the latter is Al Maqs and has spent all the past years resisting the French. Jules offers a barter to release Sobhi in exchange for Taj surrendering himself.

As Riyad tries to find out Taj's whereabouts from Hanan, Jules interrogates Jenny in an attempt to reach Taj to no avail and takes important information from her about Officer Henry. Louis is kidnapped by Taj's men, Nouran tries to reach Nada, and Taj hands over Louis in exchange for Sobhi's freedom.

Jules kills Sobhi during the exchange, Taj moves his family to another place to protect them, and Riyad searches everywhere for Taj to no avail.

As Riyad is nominated for a position in the ministry, Taj and his group plan to avenge Sobhi's killing, and Jules asks some imprisoned students to pressure Hanan to confess on Taj in exchange for their release.

Afaf fails to kill Riyad and he tries to harass her, so she runs away. As Hanan’s colleagues try to pressure her to hand over Taj, Riyad locks Nouran in the house. Riyad reaches Taj’s hiding place, however, the latter escapes at the last moment.

As Jules reaches Taj and subjects him to all kinds of torture to confess, Riyad sends Salma to a boarding school in Beirut without Nouran’s approval. A decision is issued to suspend Zakaria from work on charges of corruption and bribery. On the other hand, Taj is transferred to the hospital and sentenced to life imprisonment. The prison is bombed.

As Riyad refuses Nouran’s request to see Salma, Zakaria tries to convince Taj to escape from prison, but the latter refuses to cooperate with him. Jules goes to prison to pardon some prisoners, including Zakaria, and Salim marries Marion.

As the Syrian Parliament is bombed and many are killed and injured, Taj succeeds in escaping from prison and returning to his sister's house. Nouran asks Riyad to go to the hospital to help, and Taj returns to work with the resistance men.

Nouran volunteers to help at the hospital and informs Riyad that she will stay there until the situation stabilizes. She meets Taj in the hospital, and he carries out new strikes against the occupation. He bombs the residential neighborhoods and cuts off electricity to the country. An attack occurs on the university building, and Louis helps Hanan escape.

Hanan meets Omar while she is escaping from the bombing with Louis, however, Louis and Omar clash and the latter dies. Taj attempts to carry out a major operation with the resistance, and Riyad asks Nada to go to the hospital and bring Nouran.

General De Gaulle orders Jules to a ceasefire. Shafiq tries to persuade Taj to surrender himself and grant him a pardon after two months, but Taj refuses. Nouran returns home and stands by Nada during her illness. Taj, Shafiq, and Salim come up with a plan to convince everyone of Taj’s death in the bombing of the castle. Afaf is brought to identify his body and prove his death.

Abu Nouran asks Riyad to return Salma to Nouran, especially after her father’s death. A huge funeral is held for all the martyrs of the parliamentary bombing, and Taj succeeds in faking his death. On the other hand, Jules is deported to France, and Louis takes up his position in Syria.

Salim writes an article in the newspaper about the corruption of officers, and Riyad’s fears increase after the spread of killing campaigns for all those collaborating with the French. Shafiq and Taj prove that Riyad is a French agent, and Jules is killed before he travels. Riyad asks Nouran to travel to avoid danger, and she agrees in exchange for Salma’s return.

As Marion refuses to continue with Salim, Riyad informs Nouran of his agreement to return Salma to her. At the same time, Zakaria and his men watch Shafiq, and Salim is shot and dies. Zakaria learns that Taj is still alive. Riyad tries to burn the house, but Taj saves Nouran at the last minute. Nada dies.

Abu Sobhi asks Taj to forgive him, and Ryiad tells Louis that Taj is still alive, so Louis expels Riad and considers him a spy. A warrant is issued to arrest Ryiad, and Louis forcefully arrests the latter from inside the French consulate.

Riyad informs Taj that he will get Salma in exchange for releasing him from prison, and he agrees. Nouran stabs Riyad and kills him, and returns to Taj. Salim comes out of the hospital and asks Marion to stay with him, but she refuses. Everyone celebrates the departure of the French.
