The student Maimouna mocks her classmate Haya for her father's work as a guard at the school. Nasser leaves a love letter for Ghanima in the classroom, and Maimouna hands it to the headmistress. Ghazi aspires to marry Modi despite the difference in their age due to her wealth.
Abu Haya (Haya's father) quarrels with his wife over Abu Ghanima getting close to her. The latter solves his daughter’s problem at school, while Modi sets an impossible condition for Ghazi to marry her.
Ghazi steals from his father to pay Modi's dowry and takes over his shop, while Nasser sends another love letter to Ghanima.
Abu Ghazi files a report against his son for robbing his shop. Maimouna gets Nasser imprisoned at the police station, and claims that he flirted with her, while she plans to have her brother, Officer Salah, marry Ghanima in order to defeat her.
Abu Ghazi dies of grief. Abeer tells Ghanima that Amani and Nasser are in a relationship, not knowing that he is her brother. Salah proposes to Ghanima.
Maimouna informs Nasser that her brother Salah has proposed to Ghanima. Modi seeks to find out the cause of Abu Ghazi’s death. Nasser causes a problem for Amani at school when he visits her there.
Ghazi borrows money from his friends, and plans to seize Modi's property after his marriage to her. As Nasser asks Amani to photograph Ghanima at school, he is shocked to discover that Salah is engaged to Ghanima, who discovers the kinship between Nasser and Amani.
Ghazi tries to convince Modi to sign her property over to him so that he can trade with it. Nasser asks Salah to stay away from Ghanima. By mistake, Amani gives Ghanima love letters written by Nasser to other girls, which makes Ghanima refuse to get engaged to him.
Ghanima succeeds in breaking off her engagement to Salah after his plot with Maimouna is revealed, and she marries Nasser. Ghazi plots with his friends to falsely claim that the cargo boat has sunk in order to seize his wife’s money. Maimouna suggests to Haya to marry Salah.
Salah gets close to Haya. Ghazi treats Modi badly after the marriage, as his true colors are revealed, and he plans to obtain a general power of attorney to manage all her property.
Nasser quarrels with the owner of a photography shop for displaying photos of Ghanima, who tries to advise Haya not to agree to marry Salah. Modi regrets her marriage to Ghazi, and discovers that he lied about the sinking of the goods.
Abu Haya pressures his daughter to return the money she paid to the photography shop owner so that he drops the case against Ghanima and Nasser. Haya asks Ghanima to return the money to her father, but she refuses, which escalates the situation between the two, and Salah decides to intervene.
Salah officially proposes to Haya, much to Ghanima's jealousy, so she accuses Haya of stealing money from her father. Haya asks Salah to teach Ghanima a lesson by imprisoning her. Modi puts poison in the food for her husband and his friends.
It's revealed that Modi did not put the poison in the food, but rather that Ghazi suffered from indigestion. Nasser insists on Ghanima apologizing to Haya to drop the complaint against her, so Ghanima sneaks into Haya’s room on her wedding night and places a piece of jewelry of hers.
Haya discovers that her gold was stolen from the room, and Salah tries to find out who did it, while Maimouna believes that Ghanima is behind the theft. Modi repays the bank loan, which angers Ghazi, and she asks him to cancel the power of attorney.
