Doctor Abdul Rahman Al Shahbandar is assassinated, and the police arrest a number of the neighborhood's young men. Sobhi's wife asks him to undergo fertility tests, and Nouri arrives in the neighborhood and tells everyone that he is Abu Adnan's friend, however, Adnan's mother suspects him.

Nouri tells the people of the neighborhood that Abu Adnan is working in the resistance against the French occupier. However, Nouri meets Yusra in the neighborhood and it seems that he knows her from the past, and the killers of Al Shahbandar are trying to escape to Iraq.

Joseph tells Nazim that he is the one behind the idea of cooperation between Al Shahbandar and the French occupation, and an argument occurs between Irfan and the police chief, Abu Atman. On the other hand, Madiha tries to find out the secret that Nouri told Adnan’s mother.

As Nouri learns that Abu Adnan is not in prison, a memorial service is held for Al Shahbandar. Abu Atman raids the neighborhood again, trying to arrest Irfan. Naguib asks Farid not to come near Salwa.

The police release Nouri after Yusra and Nazim mediate. Nouri tells Irfan about his father’s attack on the occupation soldiers and their attempt to arrest him. As Salwa returns after studying abroad. Yusra tries to break off her daughter Ghada’s engagement to Ezzat and marry her off to Irfan.

Nouri tells Yusra that he is trying to get his share of the partnership he had with Abu Adnan before his disappearance. Al Shahbandar’s funeral is held in the presence of the general, and the sheikh of the mosque hides in Elias’ house after making a duaa on the occupation during the funeral.

Ezzat feels that Yusra wants to break off his engagement to her daughter Ghada and complains to Nouri. At the same time, Abu Atman becomes angry with Hosnia because of her assault on Berro, and Nouri meets Nadir, Abu Adnan’s old friend.

After Abu Atman attempts to arrest him, the sheikh of the mosque escapes with the help of one of Abu Adnan's men. Yusra refuses to hold her daughter's wedding to Ezzat because of Al Shahbandar's death, and Nagiub tries to search for Salwa's address in the Levant.

Nouri asks Umm Adnan to find a house for him to stay in and tells her that he will stay in the neighborhood. Yusra refuses to return Samira to her perverted ex-husband, Setif, who tried to break into the house. On the other hand, Nouri clashes with Sobhi because the latter defends the occupation.

As Nouri asks Yusra to proceed with the wedding of Ezzat and Ghada, Nouri feels suspicious of Nazir. The police arrest the driver who brought Al Shahbandar’s killers to the border. On the other hand, Samira refuses to return to Setif, Yusra complains to Ezzat about Setif.

The police arrest and torture Setif, and falsely accuse him of assaulting Jassem, one of the police officers. Hana objects to Sobhi’s cooperation with the occupation and his moral deviations, and Nouri threatens Setif if he attacks Yusra and Samira.

Yusra becomes jealous of Adnan's mother over Nouri after Adnan's mother attempts to find a house for Nouri to stay in. At the same time, the police arrest Al Shahbandar's killer, and Nouri feels suspicious during a concerning conversation with Nazir.

Abu Atman clashes with Irfan, and Abu Adnan asks Khairo to be gentle in dealing with his father Setif, despite his harsh treatment of him and his mother Afaf. On the other hand, Nouri tells Yusra that he is searching for a treasure in Abu Adnan’s house.

After obtaining a house in the neighborhood, Nouri opens a wood shop and tells Somaya that this matter is Abu Adnan's desire. As Nazir catches the rest of those accused of killing Al Shahbandar, a message arrives to Nouri from an unknown person.

Sobhi rejects Hanaa's request to undergo fertility tests, and Nouri informs Somaya of the arrival of an anonymous letter from Abu Adnan. On the other hand, Yusra threatens Nouri because he participated in the timber trade with Somaya.

Yusra becomes angry about Nouri and Somaya's partnership. As Sobhi asks Salwa to write articles supporting the French, Setif tells Nouri about the location where Abu Adnan's wealth is hidden.

Joseph arrests Sobhi because of Salwa's articles against the French. At the same time, Nouri stands in solidarity with Sobhi and deceives the people of the neighborhood that this solidarity is at the request of Abu Adnan.

As the police arrest Nazir, Sobhi pledges to serve the neighborhood and its people. On the other hand, Setif tries to attack Nouri because Nouri prevents him from attacking Yusra and the Abu Adnan family.

The accused of killing Al Shahbandar confesses in detail to the incident and his attempt to escape to Iraq, and that the assassination order was issued by a fatwa from his group. On the other hand, Setif tries to prove that Nouri was with him in the club.

As Nouri tells Somaya that he wants to propose to her daughter, Widad, according to a prior agreement between him and her husband, Abu Adnan, Sobhi tries to win the general's affection.

As Widad tries to find out the reason for Nouri's visit to their house, Nouri convinces Yusra of the necessity of his marriage to Widad. On the other hand, Yusra quarrels with Ezzat because he is determined to set a date for his wedding to Ghada.

Somaya is confused about Nouri's request and presents the matter to Widad. As Setif attacks Nouri and demands that he intervene to return Samira as his wife again, Nouri fears the possibility of Abu Adnan returning to the neighborhood.

French intelligence supports Sobhi to be their agent, Hana holds a memorial service on the fortieth anniversary of Al Shahbandar, and Abu Atman clashes with Ezzat over the memorial ceremony.

Abu Adnan's family approves of Nouri's marriage to Widad after they accept the matter, and Hanaa thanks Nouri after he stood up for Ezzat, who tried to interrogate her because of the memorial ceremony, but she is suspicious of him because of his praise of Sobhi.

The police attack Nouri and Widad's wedding in search of Abu Adnan, while Irfan defends Salwa, whom the police tried to arrest, and announces his engagement to her.

The police, led by Ezzat, attack Sobhi's house in search of Abu Adnan and Salwa claims that he is in the house to anger Ezzat. Joseph leaves a message for Abu Adnan with his grandson Khairo, thinking that Khairo knows where Abu Adnan is.

Naguib arrives in the Levant and is shocked by Salwa's engagement to Irfan. While Nouri warns Khairo about Joseph, who works with French intelligence, an unknown person assaults Sobhi.

Hanaa gets angry because the dancer Falak visits Sobhi in the hospital. At the same time, Nouri thinks about marrying Yousra, but he is afraid because of the presence of Abu Adnan in the neighborhood. Najib confesses his love to Salwa, but she repulses him.

As Nouri asks Joseph to issue a decision to demolish Somaya's house, Joseph asks to share the treasure buried in the house with him. Falak informs Sobhi of her pregnancy. At the same time, Salwa presents Hanaa's tests to a doctor to find out the reason for her delayed pregnancy.

As Salwa tells Sobhi that he is unable to have children. Nouri slaps Yousra because she falsely tells him that Widad is pregnant. The police arrest Nouri, after he kills Salim. Nouri's murder of Abu Adnan is revealed. Sentences are issued against Al-Shahbandar’s killers.
