After the village chief dies, Abu Jabr (Jabr's father) objects to Ghaith assuming power after him. A severe dust storm blows over the village, and Ismail is surprised by his brother’s daughter, Wijdan, visiting him.
Wijdan turns to her uncle Ismail after escaping from her father. Abu Saif tries to persuade his daughter to marry Jumaa Al Jazzar, and Salem decides to propose to her.
Salem asks the village chief Ghaith to mediate with Abu Saif so that he can marry his daughter, Mira. Ghaith asks Umm Muhammad to visit Wijdan to find out everything about her, and Badra finds Salem’s letter to Mira and steals it.
As Ghaith investigates a pack of ferocious dogs attacking the villagers, he holds the gatekeeper responsible. Ghaith informs Salem that Abu Saif refuses his marriage to his daughter because he was a foundling. Rashid finds Mira’s letter and believes it is for his daughter Badra.
A group of men assault Hamza, and Ghaith tries to convince Abu Saif not to force Mira to marry Al Jazzar. After Rashid tells Ghaith about the letter he found with Badra, Ghaith asks Hamza to marry her.
Badra and Hamza's wedding takes place, and so does Mira and Al Jazzar’s. On the other hand, Wijdan approaches Ghaith's wife and devises a plan to get married so that she can control the village.
Hamza asks Badra to stay away from him, and tells her that she is only his wife in front of people. Hamza kills Nayef and runs away. After Wijdan finds her father, Kaseb, trying to take her with him out of town, Ghaith is forced to marry her in order to prevent him from doing so.
As Jabr decides to avenge his brother on Hamza, he asks Ghaith for retaliation. Ismail and Wijdan tell the latter's father of their agreement to ensnare Ghaith in her trap so that she can control the village.
After Jabr refuses to accept his brother's blood money and insists on retaliation against Hamza, he bargains with Ghaith to pardon his father and let him return to the town in exchange for dropping the idea of avenging his brother, after which a ruling is issued to banish Hamza from the town.
Badra's father beats his daughter after discovering her pregnancy, and forces her to get rid of it. Ghaith tries to communicate with Hamza in his exile, but the latter refuses.
Mira communicates with Salem through her husband Al Jazzar. Wijdan arouses Ghaith’s wife’s jealousy. As Faraj tells Salem about raising him when he was young, he watches Jabr smuggling boxes inside the city.
Wijdan tells the women of the village of her secret marriage to Ghaith, and threatens to leave the village until he acknowledges their marriage, while Badra's father decides to marry her off to someone other than Hamza, who is enraged when he learns of Wijdan and Ghaith's marriage.
News of Ghaith's marriage to Wijdan spreads in the city, and Jabr succeeds in providing aid to all the people in the village, which causes everyone to rally around him, away from Ghaith.
Ishaq and Fadel convince Hamza that Ghaith exiled him to seize his inheritance and get Wijdan. Hammam’s wife returns and demands her husband’s inheritance. Jabr seeks to convince Salem to work with him. Wijdan's father asks Ghaith to hold a wedding to announce his marriage to his daughter.
A wedding is held for Wijdan and Ghaith. As Rashid kidnaps Badra's daughter and tries to bury her, his wife follows her, then she runs away with Badra. Fadel and Ishaq convince Hamza to trade in jewelry with his money.
Rashid searches for his wife and daughter, while Mira tells her husband about her pregnancy. Hamza asks Ghaith to hand over his properties to Musab to manage. As Badra’s baby girl falls ill, Wijdan tries to help her treat her. Jabr agrees with Rashid to discredit Ghaith.
Ghaith agrees that Fadel and Ishaq work in the village, Wijdan hosts her friend Malak in her house. After Jumaa discovers Mira’s relationship with Salem through a letter he sent her, he divorces her.
Jumaa is devastated by Mira's infidelity; Badra dies; Faraj tells Ghaith about Jabr smuggling weapons inside merchandise boxes; Jabr's father dies in exile.
Wijdan asks Ghaith for ownership of Shaha's land, and her father agrees with her to quickly have children with Ghaith so that she can seize everything. Jabr decides to get rid of Abu Wijdan after he threatened him.
Kaseb and his men attack a convoy to implicate Jabr in the matter. Ghaith refuses to sell Shaha’s land to Wijdan. Mira collapses when Jumaa refuses to let her see their son. Driven by her jealousy of Ghaith’s closeness to Shaha, Wijdan plots against her.
Hamza returns to the village after serving his sentence in exile. Ghaith reproaches Jabr for the death of many of the convoy's passengers. Ghaith discovers Wijdan's conspiracy against Shaha and her agreement with Mira's mother to spread the word that she is a witch.
Shaha's relationship with Ghaith improves. As Hamza asks to see his daughter, he quarrels with his brother Ghaith over his inheritance and his share in Wijdan's house.
Ghaith divorces Wijdan for her refusal to give up the house so that he gives Hamza his share, after which she decides to take revenge on him. Ismail warns Kaseb of the charge of attacking the convoy.
Jumaa agrees to leave his son with Mira; Wijdan and Kaseb buy shops in the market; Salem asks Ghaith to help him marry Mira after her divorce; Hamza discovers that Kaseb bought his share in the shop.
Abu Saif objects to Salem and Mira's marriage. Kaseb offers Hamza to buy his share in the shop. Jabr ignites strife in the village and informs them of his father’s death in the convoy attack.
Salem is upset that Mira refused to marry him, and Wijdan tries to entrap Hamza, while the people quarrel with Ghaith and demand that he tell them who attacked the convoy.
Rashid leads a revolution of the people in the market against Ghaith. After Malak warns Ismail that Kaseb and Wijdan will betray him, Ismail kills Kaseb, while Wijdan declares war on the village.
Jabr agrees with Wijdan to avenge their parents. Faraj reveals that Ghaith has taken over the chieftaincy, and that the senior village chief assigned Hamza to the task after him. The village chief marries Hind bint Khalifa.
Hamza asks Faraj to search for the command of the chieftaincy. After Shaha expels her from her home, the women of the village turn against Wijdan. As Jabr breaks off his dealings with Salem, he proposes to Wijdan. Jumaa thinks about remarrying Mira.
Khalifa dies. As Ismail steals Wijdan's money and buries it, the latter teams up with Hamza against Ghaith and hands him the command of the chieftaincy to ensure that she and her tribe can live in the village. Jabr is arrested and the weapons are seized.
