While Badran seeks to find his uncle's killer to take revenge, he marries Najoud, Shalash's sister, and the latter marries Al Maha, Badran's sister. However, the marriage quickly turns into enmity after Shalash repeatedly mistreats Al Maha, which ends with her being thrown out of the house.
