Qamar suffers with her fiancé, who is busy working with her father in his election campaign. She also rejects many of her father’s actions. Bahr bears responsibility for his family and the entire neighborhood and is arrested because of a quarrel there.
Bahr is released from the police station after Yusra intercedes for him, and someone teases him about his wife running away from him, so his mother comes to defend him. On the other hand, Nabil declines to work in Jalal’s election campaign to please Qamar.
Bahr meets with his family to find out who owns the drugs he found. Qamar and Nabil get into a car accident caused by Bahr, so the latter tries to save Qamar, after which he leaves her until Nabil comes to and is able to ask for help, then they are taken to the hospital.
Nabil avoids talking about the accident because he feels guilty about causing it. Bahr finds out about the status of Qamar and her family in society and fears the consequences of the accident. He goes to the hospital to try to check on her without drawing attention to himself.
Nabil recounts the accident during the investigations and says that it was planned to help Jalal win the elections by accusing Carmen of incitement. Qamar wakes up from the coma. As someone asks about Bahr and raises suspicions, the latter becomes afraid and decides to run away from home.
As the police come to the house, Bahr manages to flee with his friends' help. Investigations begin with all the people of the neighborhood defending him, but Mansour, in collusion with Zeina, falsely testifies against him, and Qamar tries to remember the details of the accident.
Bahr hides with Yusra and sends a message through her to Qamar to tell the latter the details of the accident and ask her to get him exonerated. Qamar remembers some of the events about which Nabil lied, and Bahr leaves Yusra’s house because it was compromised and hides in another house.
Bahr refuses to leave Lebanon in the hope that Qamar will contact him. The women of the neighborhood decide to stage a sit-in to demand the release of the arrested men and to confirm Bahr’s innocence. Qamar calls Yusra and asks to meet Bahr.
Jalal tries to keep Qamar away from the events by suggesting that she travel abroad with Nabil, but she refuses. Bahr contacts Qamar to give her her necklace as proof of helping her during the accident.
Qamar reveals to her father and Nabil Bahr's message after Yusra's arrest. As Qamar meets Bahr and he tells her the details of the accident, she remembers how he saved her. The police come to arrest him, but he escapes again.
Nabil suggests questioning Qamar's sanity after the accident as an excuse for her actions and words. Qamar visits Bahr's family in their home, which increases problems with her family, and Bahr hides with his relatives near the border.
Zeina, Jalal's office manager, suggests to Jalal and Nabil to use Qamar to find Bahr and catch him, or to reach an agreement with him like Mansour, and if he refuses, he will be killed. Jalal's lawyer seeks the help of a member of Bahr's family to testify against him.
Problems arise among Bahr's family members after his absence, and his mom falls ill. Jalal threatens Qamar that she'll have to deal with the consequences if she decides to refute their story about the accident. Qamar tells Bahr's mom about her attempt to reach a compromise in the case with her family.
It turns out there's an old love story between Carmen and Jalal, which is the reason for the conflict between them in the elections. Qamar learns of it and confronts Carmen. Nabil gets angry and threatens to quit working with Jalal after learning that Qamar is thinking of breaking off the engagement.
Khaled and Jalal conspire against Bahr. Qamar asks Dana to meet Bahr to reach an agreement that's suitable for him, but Dana refuses because she does not trust Qamar and is afraid that Bahr’s life will be in danger from this meeting.
After Jalal forces her not to contact anyone or to leave the house, Qamar runs away and goes to meet Bahr, who reproaches her when she suggests that he confess to being guilty in exchange for money, despite her believing his story.
Bahr and Qamar reveal the love that was destined between them before they met during the accident. Nabil puts Jalal in a pickle, forcing him to choose between announcing Qamar’s mental incapacity or withdrawing from the elections to preserve his image.
After the police find out his location, Bahr flees with Qamar and then leaves her to try to escape to Syria. Heba posts the recorded video of Bahr telling his story so that people will sympathize with him, and Jalal chooses to defame Qamar to protect himself.
Qamar quarrels with her family over Bahr, so they decide to commit her to a mental hospital against her will. The public sympathizes with Bahr after his story spreads, while they turn against Jalal.
Carmen and Jalal take advantage of the neighborhood residents' disagreement over whether Bahr is innocent or guilty, and a video spreads of Mansour proving the guilt of Bahr, who kills the person responsible for helping him travel to protect Qamar's necklace, and he fails to escape to Syria.
As Nabil proposes to Bahr to turn himself in in exchange for money, he forges a message from Bahr accepting his proposal. Bahr returns to his relatives with Bilal’s help, and Qamar fails to escape from the hospital.
Qamar's family pressures her to confirm Bahr's guilt and save the family, and she agrees on the condition that she see Bahr. At the same time, Bahr considers turning himself in for free on the condition that he contact Qamar to save her from staying in the hospital.
Bahr learns of the forged message from Qamar's family and tries to reach her to tell her the truth. Qamar collapses after recording a video that incriminates Bahr, so Jalal decides to have her return home. Dana informs Jalal and Zeina that Bahr refuses to turn himself in.
Zeina pays money to a nurse at the hospital to give Qamar medications that are harmful to her health. Bahr meets with Yusra to apologize for ruining her life, but she confronts him about his failure in life and decides to reveal his whereabouts to Qamar’s family.
Bahr escapes from his hiding place before Zeina and Jalal's men arrive after they learn where he is from Yusra. He then returns to his home to meet his family and ask his mother to help him make the decision whether to escape or turn himself in.
After remembering many events, Qamar accuses Jalal of causing her mother’s death. Bahr finds out the news of his family members after his escape and their plans for the future. Jalal accuses Nabil of causing Qamar’s accident.
Bahr goes to Jalal's house to accept his offer on the condition that he see Qamar. Jalal agrees after consulting with Nabil and Zeina. Qamar apologizes to Bahr for incriminating him and asks him not to confess, which increases her disagreements with Jalal.
Bilal informs the police that Bahr is at Jalal's, but the latter hides Bahr after torturing him. Nabil betrays Jalal by working with Carmen to take revenge on him, and Hardan rescues Bahr and Qamar from Jalal's house.
Many problems occur among the members of Qamar's family after her escape. As Bahr's mother dies, Bahr collapses when he finds out and regrets not being with her in her final days.
Bahr's family break apart after his mother's death, and some decide to return to Syria. Mansour regrets recording Bahr’s false confession, and Qamar decides to escape with Bahr outside Lebanon.
