The army officer Adham bids his family farewell as he prepares to travel to El-Arish, to which he has recently been redeployed. A loud explosion occurs in the area where the Palestinian girl Maliha, who fled to Libya with her family during the intifada, lives.

In the aftermath of a large explosion, the people in the neighborhood are displaced and they decide to flee to Egypt. A terrorist gets on the bus with them and places explosives. Officer Adham exposes him before the bus explodes and saves everyone.

Adham succeeds in stopping the terrorist attack on the border, and some soldiers are martyred. Adham is taken to the hospital after rescuing the grandfather of Maliha, who apologizes to Adham for what she did to him previously.

Maliha's grandfather recovers and asks his wife that they return to Palestine. Abu Ammar tells Adham about Salem helping him in Sinai. On the other hand, Adel asks Hoda to get back to him, and Ali thinks about telling his mother about his wish to immigrate.

Maliha's grandfather dies in the hospital, and the relationship between her and Adham strengthens. The latter tries to help her and her family, while everyone celebrates Ali's birthday, and Nawal tries to hide her cancer from her family.

Maliha buries her grandfather and decides to settle in Egypt. After he returns to his home, Hanan finds out that Adham is injured, while he offers his condolences to the family of the martyr Hadi.

Ali tells Hanan that he wants to propose to Farida, which makes everyone happy, and he tells his brother Adham that he wants to emigrate. Maliha goes with her grandmother to visit Adham at his mother’s house.

Enas is jealous of Adham's interest in Maliha, who is forced to stay with her grandmother in Adham's house as a result of the demonstrations in the streets. Adham asks his brother Ali not to emigrate out of fear for their mother, Hanan.

Nawal tells Hanan that she has cancer and refuses treatment. Ali and Farida's wedding ceremony is held. Adham announces his engagement to Enas, which shocks Maliha, whom Doctor Hisham tells his sister Rehab that he loves.

Hoda informs her parents that her husband, Adel, is struggling financially. Nawal grows suspicious of the reason for Adham’s engagement to Enas, thinking it’s out of sympathy because she's ill, while Hisham’s sister tells Maliha that he loves her.

Adham travels to perform his service in Arish and undertakes the task of preventing arms smuggling on the border, while Salem helps him. Hisham takes Maliha and her grandmother to Salem’s house to help them find their family. Terrorists seek revenge on Adham.

Farida reveals to Hanan and her family that Ali wants to emigrate. Terrorists attack Salem and Maliha and kidnap them, and Adham undertakes the task of finding them and bringing them back.

Hanan informs Farida and Ali of Nawal's cancer and her refusal to receive treatment. Adham rescues Maliha and Salem after leading an attack on their kidnappers, but Officer Medhat is martyred.

Maliha returns to Palestine, while Adham convinces Ali not to travel, and Nawal begins treatment.

Nawal's condition improves after receiving treatment. Adham returns to his work in Arish. As the recent events in Gaza occur, Maliha loses her grandmother.
