As Aziz is found murdered, Mukhtar goes to the crime scene in the factory with the police. Awatif leaves home after a fight with her husband. Younis wants to go to a woman looking for her missing son, as she could be his real mother, but Al Dhahabi stops him. Khaled returns home drunk and his dad slaps him.

Atiqa visits her uncle Idris, and Awatif returns to her husband against her will at the urging of her mother and mother-in-law. Younis is astonished by his father, Al Dhahabi, for his dealings with Al Kash because he has a bad reputation.

Khaled tries to improve his relationship with his wife, Awatif. Mukhtar ingratiates himself with his wife, Malika, and wants her to be the keeper of the scrap factory, not Al Dhahabi.

Farida suffers from depression and is being treated by a psychiatrist, while her husband, Suleiman Al Kash, slips her narcotics so that she will not recover. Khaled returns to staying up late and gambling despite his father’s anger at him.

Al Dhahabi, Malika, and Al Kash run for the position of keeper of the scrap factory. Safaa gets angry at the maid, Bahija, for throwing away the box in which she kept the drugs, to her mother’s amazement.

Younis warns Atiqa about Al Kash. Safaa likes Nabil, Farida and Al Kash's son. Al Dhahabi wins the presidency of the scrap factory. Farida's condition suddenly worsens amid her son's sadness and fear for her.

Al Kash tries to get closer to Younis, who refuses to deal with him. Al Dhahabi meets with the officials at the factory who voted for Al Kash, and they tell him that Younis was the one who incited them to do so.

Al Dhahabi quarrels with Younis and expels him from the factory. Al Kash gets close to Khaled and visits him in his restaurant. Bahija steals an expensive ring from the villa and gives it to Hamouda, the family’s driver and Awatif’s brother.

Malika sees Farida in front of the factory and tries to talk to her, but she soon disappears. Atiqa meets with Younis in an attempt to find out news about him, especially after he quit working with Al Dhahabi.

Rabia writes an article about the mysterious crime in which Aziz was killed in the factory, and her mother, Malika, becomes angry with her. Younis decides to work with Al Kash, causing Al Dhahabi to be angry at him. Khaled submits to his mother’s wishes and asks to help his father at the factory.

Bahija thinks of a plan to seize the key to the gold chest in the villa. A guy tries to kidnap Rabia while she is riding in her car.

Malika quarrels with Al Kash and Al Jatt, and accuses them of trying to assault her daughter Rabia. Awatif discovers Khaled's infidelity after his friend Farouk tells her the truth about him.

Awatif goes to Khaled's girlfriend's house, but she does not find him there. Meanwhile, Khaled is afraid that his situation will be discovered. Al Kash admires Younis, who reminds him of his youth, to the jealousy of his right-hand man, Al Jatt.

The relationship between Al Kash and Younis strengthens, and Khaled tries to prevent his wife from discovering his infidelity, but she seeks to find the truth. Safaa returns to Nabil after the misunderstanding that happened between them.

Al Kash is arrested, to the joy of Al Dhahabi, who discovers that Younis is the reason the police reached Al Kash, but he is soon released. Awatif meets with Farouk, who tells her that Khaled is seeing several girls.

Al Kash confronts Younis about him being the reason he went to prison. Khaled agrees with Mimi to work together, so she hands him a bag to deliver to a customer. Khaled places the bag in his father’s office. Bahija plans with Hamouda to steal Tajja’s gold box.

Younis discovers that Atiqa is still married, while he pays the money owed by Idris to Al Kash. Bahija steals the gold box. As Nabil gives Safaa a chain in an attempt to express his love for her, he asks her to stop using drugs.

The police find the bag of drugs in Al Dhahabi's office and arrest him, while Khaled feels guilty. Awatif tries to question Bahija about her stealing the gold box. The relationship between Younis and Rabia is strengthened.

The merchants gather at the factory to find a replacement for Al Dhahabi. Awatif goes out to meet Farouk and refuses to return to the villa, so she heads to her mother’s house and decides to file for divorce from Khaled.

Khaled discovers that Mimi and Al Kash are in cahoots, and that they planned to get Al Dhahabi imprisoned. Meanwhile, Al Dhahabi’s condition deteriorates in prison and he is taken to the hospital and then temporarily released. It's revealed that Awatif was the one who stole Tajja’s gold.

Al Dhahabi dies, much to the grief of the family and Yamna, who brought Younis up. Nabil quarrels with his father Al Kash and tells him that he knows he had a hand in what happened to Al Dhahabi.

Al Kash wants to take over Al Dhahabi’s place in the factory, and he and Nabil go to pay their respects. Safaa is shocked that Al Kash is the father of her beloved. Farouk courts Awatif, but she rebuffs him. Younis and Yamna mourn Al Dhahabi’s death.

Yamna goes to console Tajja, and everyone knows that she was Al Dhahabi’s wife amid Younis's dismay and anger. Tajja wants to issue a general power of attorney for Khaled so that Yamna will not be able to take her share of the inheritance, but Safaa rejects her mother’s position.

Khaled pawns the villa after a gambling session, and his mother and sister become angry with him, while Awatif marries Farouk. Younis is admitted to the hospital and Atiqa and Rabia visit him. Yamna asks Rabia to sever her relationship with Younis.

Younis is still in the hospital, while the villa is foreclosed on, so Tajja and her daughter go to live in the house of her sister, Awatif’s mother, and Farida starts speaking a little.

The relationship between Tajja and her sister becomes tense, as the latter starts asking her for a lot of money. Yamna decides to give her the key to her apartment so she can stay with Safaa. Farouk starts treating Awatif badly like Khaled, and Safaa gets a job with Nabil’s help.

Malika tells her husband Mukhtar that she had Younis out of wedlock and left him in front of the factory, so Al Dhahabi and Yamna took him in. Awatif quarrels with Farouk and asks him to return the money and gold, but he refuses, so she seeks her brother's help.

Al Kash's warehouse burns with the drugs inside. Malika reconciles with her husband. Farouk is involved in a car accident, which leaves him wheelchair-bound. Hamouda discovers that Bahija has cheated on him with Simo.

Younis discovers that he's Malika's son and confronts her. Hamouda takes revenge on Bahija by beating her and throwing her on the beach. Younis reconciles with Yamna, and Khaled joins Safaa and Nabil to search for evidence to incriminate Al Kash.

Al Kash kidnaps Younis and tortures him, while Khaled, Safaa, and Rabia search for him. Al Jatt decides to help Farida and smuggle her with the help of Nabil. Khaled is able to reach Younis and free him. Malika tells Al Kash that Younis is his son, and Younis marries Atiqa.
