A deaf-mute child named Morteza lives in a small town in northern Iran with his mother. When Mr. Fattahi, the new principal, starts working at Morteza's school, there are several miscommunications between the boy and the tough principal. While attempting to calm Morteza's untamed energy, Mr. Fatahi quickly falls for the attraction of Morteza's stunning, widowed mother.
