After the ruler arrests the Tashkent governor, the governor asks Zubaid Ibn Ashhal, the army commander, to release him because he rescued his father. Zubaid is torn between freeing the Tashkent governor and obeying the ruler's command, but events turn upside down when he escapes. The ruler believes that Zubaid is the one who released him.
