Sam and his crew of firemen from the Pontypandy unit set out to rescue several emergencies. Bella, the owner of Sam's favorite cafe, lost her keys, twins Sarah and James caused a water pipe to burst, and many more exciting situations.
Norman seeks fame by climbing Mount Pontypandy, Steele puts the fire crew on standby, and James, Sarah, and Mandy decide to start a small neighborhood patrol, but their over-enthusiasm causes a lot of trouble.
Fireman Sam conducts a fire safety day in Pontypandy, while Mandy tries to prove the abilities of rescue dog Snuffy to her father, Mike, and events unfold.
