An experienced detective, Briscoe, and his new partner, Rey Curtis, set out to find the person responsible for the kidnapping of a young girl. In a questionable case, the court dismisses the allegations of murder against a rich defendant and rejects all of the prosecution's evidence. DA Adam Schiff believes that the judge, who is an old friend of his, accepted a bribe to clear the accused.
