The film penetrates the isolation of the writer Muhammad Hafez Rajab, who sells seeds and peanuts on the sidewalk at the Raml Station in Alexandria. He is one of the most important short story writers of the 1960s generation and has lived in self-imposed isolation for more than thirty years, inside his modest apartment in the Al Wardian area of Alexandria.
