Samir convinces his daughter Hayat to work at school so that she can come out of the depression caused by her divorce, and Hayat indeed goes on her first day of work at the school.

Hayat gets to know her fellow teachers, as well as the students, and notices aggressive behavior among the students, especially between Dani and Rabie. The student Tamara likes her schoolmate Sami.

As Rabie and Dani quarrel, the former pushes the teacher, Susanna, to the ground, making her insist on his expulsion from school. Rabie hides this from his older brother, Selim. The thief, Asaad, convinces Rabie to work with him, and Maria likes her colleague, Karim.

Maria suspects that Karim has feelings for Hayat, who seeks to communicate with the students and bring Rabie back to school. Dani's mother leaves home because her husband, Bassem, got fired from his job.

Dani seeks to bring Rabie back to school. Hayat tells Karim of Maria's love for him. Sami's aunt objects to his involvement with the girl Tamara, who turns out to have run away from home.

Dani leaves his home due to his parents' constant quarrels. As Karim gets close to Hayat, Maria takes advantage of this and tells the school principal, Maryam. Tamara asks Dani to solve Rabie's problem with his brother.

Bassem asks his son Dani to return home. Maria is angry at Karim’s developing relationship with Hayat, who visits Rabie at his family’s home to convince him to return to school.

Fina, Tima's classmate, decides to celebrate the latter's birthday, while Tamara's brother refuses to let her go to the party. Sami's aunt objects to how his father pampers him. Hayat becomes upset when her ex-husband visits her at school.

The teachers surprise Tima with a visit to her home and celebrating her birthday. Hisham tells his son Sami the news of his second wife’s pregnancy. Dani seeks to convince his mother to stay and take care of her family.

Rabie continues his drug addiction and hanging out with Asaad. Maria tells Hayat of her decision to stay away from Karim. Bassem goes with Hayat to where Rabie is and tries to pressure him into returning to school.

As Rabie returns to school, the students agree to help him with the lessons he missed. Hayat visits Rami's mother in the hospital. Selim tells Rabie that the police are looking for him, while Hayat's aunt, Hoda, returns from traveling.

As Susanna disagrees with Hayat about the method of teaching students in the classroom, she asks the nanny, Umm Issam, to monitor Hayat and Karim. After Rabie turns himself in to the police, they question him on account of his relationship with Asaad.

As Susanna insists on expelling Rami from the classroom, the students demonstrate because of him. Karim invites Hayat and Hoda to the casino where he works at night.

Hayat tells Hoda about the development of her relationship with Karim, and her fear of another failed romance. Rania's father tries to reconcile her with Bassem to no avail.

Samir tells Hoda that he likes the librarian Wafaa. Karim tells Hayat that he loves her. A quarrel breaks out between Rabie and Sami over the latter's relationship with Tamara.

Dani doubts what his aunt says about his mother who died. Hoda says goodbye to Hayat and travels abroad. Mariana accuses her classmate Noura of stealing, but Rabie confronts her. Rania remains resentful of her life with Bassem.

The students are angry at Mirna for relaying everything that happens in the classroom to Susanna. Fouad, Hayat's neighbor, returns from his travels, and the two remember their childhood together. Dani is still distressed by his parents' problems.

Karim becomes jealous of Fouad’s relationship with Hayat. Susanna asks Mirna to put a sealed envelope in the teachers’ room. Rabie and Rami quarrel with Asaad for the latter’s attempt to get closer to Tamara. Sami collapses when he finds out about his real mother.

Hayat decides to break off her relationship with Karim due to his extreme jealousy. As a parents' meeting is held at school, Susanna opens the envelope in front of everyone, and it turns out that they are photos of Hayat with Karim.

Rabie reveals to the school principal that Umm Issam took pictures of Hayat and Karim at the request of Susanna. Dani moves in with his grandfather due to his parents’ separation.

Mirna becomes depressed after the students discover what she did with Susanna, and refuses to go to school. Samir is sad when he finds that the library is closed, as he fails to reach Wafaa. Asaad gets in Tamara’s way.

Sami confronts Marwa about hiding his real mother from him. Mirna apologizes to her schoolmates and Hayat for what she did. Samir offers his condolences to Wafaa for the death of her sister. Karim tries to fix things between him and Hayat.

As Hayat gives Karim another chance regarding their relationship, she listens to an audio recording of Karim and his friend's conversation, in which she discovers that he does not love her. Asaad harasses Tamara.

Bassem gets closer to Hayat, who confronts Karim about what he said about her, and asks him to stay away. Dani quarrels with Asaad for harassing Tamara, and Asaad stabs Rami with a knife.

The police officer asks Rabie to cooperate with him to catch Asaad. Karim apologizes to Dani for not cooperating with him in playing music at the casino.

Tamara tells Tamim that Asaad has harassed her; Sami decides to search for his mother; Bassem asks his son to stay at home with him.

Tamara tells Sami that Rabie is still involved with Asaad. Maria is happy after Hayat breaks off her relationship with Karim. Samir tells Wafaa that he likes her and asks her to marry him.

Hoda returns from her trip and Hayat informs her of her separation from Karim. Samir reveals to Fouad's father his decision to marry Wafaa.

Hayat objects to her father's marriage to Wafaa; Sami tells Dani about his stepmother's pregnancy; Bassem confesses to Hayat that he likes her.

Rania tells Marwa that Bassem and Hayat are in a relationship. As the students are preparing to take a vacation before the start of exams, Maria suggests holding a school play.

Karim tells Maria of his love for her. Rabie continues his plan with the police forces to trap Asaad, while Rami accuses him of betraying his friends because of his relationship with Asaad. Fouad decides to settle in Lebanon and look for work.

Dani scolds Hayat for her relationship with his father, Bassem. Rabie tells Rami of his cooperation with Asaad to buy a computer.

As Dani asks his father to stay away from Hayat, Tima scolds him for being unfair to his father and interfering in his life after he divorced his mother. The teacher Bashir gets to know Hoda.

Mirna throws a party and invites her schoolmates, while Rabie offers Dani and Sami to smoke drugs, and Bassem finds out about it.

The police officer threatens to arrest Rabie for not completing what he started with Asaad. Rami intervenes and tells the officer that he got rid of the weed that Asaad gave to Rabie. Fouad decides to leave his parents’ house and live alone.

The gang leader asks Asaad to put pressure on Rabie to continue working with him. The students return to school, while Dani approves of his father’s relationship with Hayat. Karim claims to Bashir that he broke up with Hayat. A decision is issued to appoint Susanna as school principal.

Everyone objects to Susanna's appointment as school principal, and the latter decides to expel Tamara from the school. Samir begins working in the library with Wafaa. Rabie tells Noura that he is staying away from Asaad.

Hayat invites the students to her house to help them study on the night of the exam. Hayat resigns after Susanna changes the exam questions, while Samir and Wafaa get married.

Fouad gets closer to Hayat and supports her in her problem at school. Tariq confirms to Sami that his mother is dead. Rawan invites Tima and Tamara to attend a fashion show and work with her as models.

Karim meets Rawan, who likes him, and tries to contact him, which upsets Maria. Rabie tells Rami about Asaad's desperate attempts to get him to work with him.

Dani tells Bassem that Hayat has quit her job at the school, while the teacher Nidal begins his job in her place. Mirna's mother scolds her daughter for treating Susanna in a rude way. Bashir asks Hayat to help him get in touch with Hoda.

Hayat gets upset at the appointment of a teacher as her replacement, and the students refuse to attend his class in solidarity with her, while Susanna threatens them.

Rabie tells Rami that he loves Noura. Fouad tells Hayat that he suspects corruption in some educational institutions. Bassem tries to get closer to Hayat again. Rawan collaborates with Karim’s band in singing. Sami leaves the house and asks to stay with Dani.

Tima asks her schoolmates to unite and demand that Hayat return to school. Sami is forced to stay at Rami's house so that Marwa does not know where he is. Susanna hires Bassem as an art teacher instead of Bashir.

Hoda tells Hayat about her relationship with Bashir. Sami's father asks Mona to keep her sister Tamara away from his son. As Karim asks Hayat to look after Maria during her illness, he reciprocates Rawan's affection for him. Asaad tries to rape Tamara.

Sami's father patches things up with his son. Tamara's sister threatens Asaad and asks her not to inform the police. Susanna quarrels with Dani and Rabie and insists on them getting haircuts.

Sami's father tells his son how he suffered with his mother before her death. Hayat becomes jealous of Fouad's relationship with Diana, who advises him not to antagonize the university by publishing articles against it.

Susanna tells Noura's mother about Noura's relationship with Rabie and his bad reputation. Tamara quarrels with Rami over his knowledge of what Asaad was doing and not warning her. Hayat promises Mirna that she will return to school.

Maria's medical condition worsens. Tamara quarrels with Sami for abandoning her. Noura's father objects to her relationship with Rabie. Falak files a report with the Education Department and requests an investigation into what is happening at the school, while Hayat returns to work.

Maria breaks up with Karim and scolds him for cheating on her. Marwa tells Sami everything about his mother. Bassem discovers that Rania still loves him. Fouad confesses his love for Hayat and tells her that he is not in a relationship with Diana.
