Lara treats her mother-in-law badly, while she tries to incite her husband, Ralph, against his mother and convince him to place her in a nursing home.

As Lara tells Ralph that she is pregnant, she convinces him that she needs complete rest. He takes his mother to the hospital and leaves her there without checking on her. He lives with his wife, forgetting about his mother. It turns out that Lara is having an affair with Ralph's friend, Nabil.

Ralph's mother dies and is buried, and Lara does not tell him about it. As the doctor reveals to Ralph his infertility, he suspects his wife and discovers her relationship with Nabil, so he tries to kill them, but they escape, and they die in a car accident. Years pass and Ralph remarries.
