After Patrick O'Leary dies in an accident, his widow Molly raises their three children and works as a maid. Her eldest son Jack becomes an idealistic lawyer, her middle son Dion becomes a gambler, and her youngest son Bob helps her in the business. Dion meets Belle the club's singer, and they fall in love and plan a business to compete with the cabaret owner, Gil. Gil calls on his rival Dion to unite politically against Jack.
