Youssef and his mother, Iglal, seek to terminate the pregnancy of his wife Lail. Iglal seeks to separate her son, Fares, from his wife, Noha. Shahd's cousin threatens to expose her relationship with Hazem if she doesn't marry him. Youssef and Lail meet with Ruqia, Youssef’s second wife.

Ruqia threatens Youssef to announce their marriage, while she holds a party for her old friends, trying to provoke Youssef. As Lail tries to calm the situation between Iglal and Noha, she organizes a family dinner in the hope of ending the tension between them.

Lail feels that Youssef has been unfaithful, and Ruqia calls her from an unknown number to reveal to her her marriage to Youssef, but the latter prevents her before revealing the truth. The Abu Al Azm family begins preparing for an important event for the company.

After Lail, Youssef, Fares, and Noha travel to El Gouna, Ruqia follows them to monitor Youssef and Lail, and quarrels with Youssef, which increases Lail's suspicions of his infidelity. During their return to Cairo, Fares and Noha quarrel, which leads to an accident.

Fares sustains minor injuries in the accident, while Noha is in a deteriorating condition. Iglal takes Lail to give her the abortion injection. Youssef tells Lail that he is at Adel's house, but she reads his obituary on social media, which confirms that Youssef is lying.

Fares goes to check on Noha, but she dies, and Lail’s health condition deteriorates, threatening her pregnancy. After she reconciles with Youssef, he tells her that he is traveling, but Lail goes to Ruqia’s house and finds them together.

Reeling from the shock of discovering that Youssef is married to Ruqia, Lail decides to take her daughters and go to her family's house. Youssef and his family send Fares to talk to her, but she asks him to tell Youssef that she wants to get a divorce.

After Fares fails to reconcile Lail and Youssef, Iglal tries to intervene, but Lail refuses, so Iglal threatens to take her daughters from her, giving her a week to change her mind, and after the deadline expires, the girls are taken from her.

Youssef asks Lail to choose between staying with him and her daughters or get a divorce and leave her daughters. She decides on a divorce, but remains in the villa to be close to her daughters. Hazem and his family go to ask Engy's family for her hand.

After Lail gets closer Fares due to her caring for his son Adam, Iglal warns Fares of Lail's intentions. It is decided to officially announce Ruqia's partnership with the Abu Al Azm family. Ruqia asks Youssef's family to bring Lail to a get-acquainted meeting between Engy and Hazem's families.

Lail loses her temper after Ruqia's provocations and slaps her. Ruqia threatens to take revenge on her. Lail searches for work to support herself and regain her independence. Ruqia asks Youssef that they move to live with his family, and requests that Lail be kicked out of the villa.

Iglal agrees to Ruqia's request to move to Lail's residence, and moves Lail and her daughters to the guest house. Lail begins working as an interior designer in an attempt to rebuild her life.

Ruqia claims that Lail speaks ill of her, but Fares does not believe her. Farah works as Fares’ office manager, which ignites disputes between Lail and the Abu Al Azm family. Iglal reprimands Farah, and reveals her relationship with Fares.

Disagreements continue due to Farah's work in the company. Igalal resumes her threats to Lail to force her to convince her sister to quit working with Fares, who decides to resign from the company after Youssef controlling the decisions and his desire to make Farah quit.

After Fares submits his resignation, he takes Adam and travels to El Gouna, and Kariman follows him to get closer to him. Ruqia returns from London with Karim, Youssef's son. Youssef discovers a video of Ruqia with another man that Karim had mistakenly filmed.

Youssef confronts Ruqia after he discovers that she has traveled to Rome behind his back. She becomes angry that he spied on her and decides to leave the villa. After Abdulaziz asks him to return to the company, Fares decides to bring Farah back with him as his office manager.

Kariman discovers Khaled's love for Ruqia. Farah tells her mother that she loves Fares. Shahd asks Neama to install cameras in Lail's villa in order to tell Ruqia of the details of Lail's day, while Fares begins to feel jealous over Lail.

Ruqia explains to Youssef that the reason she traveled to Rome was because she suspected she had cancer, but he does not believe her. Hazem receives pictures of him and Shahd from an unknown number with a threat from the sender. Farah reveals to Lail her love for Fares.

Farah and Kariman cause Fares to lose an important business deal. Fares and Lail grow closer to each other. Youssef pursues Ruqia, who is forced to reveal some of the secrets of her dangerous work to him.

Lail is attacked by the father of the child who is bullying Nour, so Fares saves her. Iglal and Abdulaziz threaten Lail for seeking Fares' help instead of Youssef. Abdulaziz warns Fares against helping Lail again, and decides that the solution is to get rid of Lail.

Fares confesses his love to Lail, who tries to stay away from him for fear of angering the Abu Al Azm family. Neama sets up cameras in Lail’s house at Shahd’s request. Kariman decides to move in with her sister Ruqia in the villa, and Fares learns of her decision.

Fares apologizes to Lail for confessing his love to her. As Lail goes to Hazem's wedding, Igalal bothers her. Fares intervenes to reconcile with her in front of everyone. Shahd puts a substance in Engy's juice that makes her faint.

After he and Fares quarrel over Fares' behavior at the wedding, Youssef decides to annoy him by postponing his project. After Ahlam gifts her a diamond ring, Lail is arrested on charges of stealing the ring, as it's revealed that she has fallen into a planned trap.

After Lail's arrest, Youssef tries to go to help her, but Ruqia prevents him. Farah tries to take the girls from the villa, but Iglal stops her. Fares goes to check on Lail at the police station, then probes into Ahlam's life to find out who set Lail up.

Shahd tries to put medicine in Engy's food, but Hazem warns her not to eat it. Ahlam changes her statement after Fares threatens her, so Lail is released. Ruqia asks Khaled to kill Lail. After Shahd installs cameras in Hazem and Engy's room, she learns of Hazem's plan to partner with Fares.

After Shahd tells her what she discovered about Fares and Hazem's project, Ruqia tells Youssef about it. As Fares takes Lail on an adventure to the desert, she confesses her love to him.

Shahd denies knowing about the cameras in Hazem's room. Farah tries to hint at her love for Fares, but he rebuffs her. Ruqia tries to make Youssef suspect that there is a relationship between Fares and Lail, so he watches them and his suspicions are confirmed.

Rizk goes to ask for Neama's hand from Mansour. Musa rapes Shahd to frame Hazem. Ruqia and Khaled plan to smuggle illicit goods abroad through a deal in Fares' name. Engy asks for a divorce from Hazem, who sees Fares and Lail together.

Fares tells Hazem that he plans to marry Lail. Rizk learns from his aunt that Neama is not Samir's daughter. Mansour confirms to Neama that her mother, Shalabia, was a maid and that Abdulaziz is her real father, who asked Mansour to kill Shalabia.

Abdulaziz asks Tahiya to get rid of Mansour and his family, so she kills them with gas. Lail learns that Iglal plotted to terminate her pregnancy. Youssef kills Ruqia and commits suicide. Abdulaziz is imprisoned on charges of inciting the killing of Mansour and his family. Fares marries Lail.
