Ahmed celebrates the success of his new novel and discovers he has a brain tumor. He undergoes some tests and awaits the results. His wife, Maryam, tells him that their dream of her becoming pregnant has come true.

Ahmed decides to hide his illness from his wife, Maryam, and seeks to start writing his new novel, which he named 220 Days, for his unborn child until Maryam gives birth.

Alia tries to convince Ahmed to tell Maryam the truth about his illness, but he refuses. Maryam begins to suspect a relationship between Alia and her husband, Ahmed.

Maryam continues to suspect that Ahmed is cheating on her, and the latter agrees to fix things between him and Karam.

Maryam tells Karam that she suspects a relationship between Ahmed and Alia. Alia is forced to reveal Ahmed's illness and decides to break up with Karam. Meanwhile, Maryam is shocked when she learns of Ahmed's illness and tries to support him.

Karam tells his mother and Ahmed's mother about his illness, while Ahmed prepares to undergo surgery.

Alia tells Maryam that Ahmed is undergoing chemotherapy. In a flashback, Karam falls in love with Maryam before her marriage to Ahmed, and the latter continues writing his new novel about his wife.

Things improve between Alia and Karam, and Karam's mother discovers his previous love for Maryam. Ahmed seeks to improve Maryam's relationship with her father and give him another chance.

Karam quarrels with his mother because of his old love for Maryam. Maryam tries to accept the situation after her father's death. Ahmed receives a message from Maryam's mother and begins searching for her.

Maryam takes photos for the competition, while Ahmed meets Malak's mother and younger brother. She reveals the secret of Malak's continued presence in Lebanon after the death of her twin. Ahmed surprises Maryam by meeting her mother, who confesses to her addiction and her deprivation of motherhood.

Rafeh proposes to Ahmad's mother, Magda. Ahmed gets mad and kicks him out after learning he paid for his operation. Ahmed gets into a crisis with a production company because of Malak's failure to complete the editing of his novel. The company threatens to terminate the contract and return the money.

Alia tells Karam the truth about Ahmed's illness, and Karam tells him that the tumor is malignant. Ahmed is shocked by the news of Omar's death and falls into a deep depression.

Ahmed leaves home to stay in a hotel, while everyone blames Maryam for hiding the truth. Ahmed discovers Maryam's photos in Karam's box and suspects a relationship between them, while Alia breaks off her engagement to Karam, fearing his love for Maryam.

Ahmed's health deteriorates and he is transferred to the hospital. Maryam tries to convince him to undergo surgery, but she resents Malak's presence. In the end, Ahmed agrees to his mother's marriage to Rafeh.

Karam apologizes to Ahmed, but the latter can't remember anything due to his illness. He then undergoes surgery, while Maryam gives birth. Years later, Ahmed regains his memories and lives among his daughter and grandchildren.
