Poor young man Felfel works as a car mechanic and collects rent from the residents of the building. Because of his frequent visits to the building, a young woman in the building makes him believe she likes him so that she can write a novel for her graduation project. After abandoning his poor lover, he is shocked that the rich girl has deceived him, and his end is tragic.
