Hamdan wants to marry Soraya, while Khalifa competes with him to win her. Meanwhile, Salem demands that Marhoun pay his overdue rent and threatens to evict him from the house.
Hamdan plans with Soraya to marry off his daughter, Rahuma, to her son, Khalil, so that they can get married. Nassib decides to help his father, Marhoun, in paying off his debts.
Nassib collects some money from his work in repairing satellite dishes in the village, and he tricks Salem, telling him he will fix his television in exchange for his forgiving his father’s debts. Then he takes his parents and they travel to stay in his uncle Hamdan’s village.
Nassib works with Khalil, who tells his mother that he wants to marry Zahra, whom Nassib likes. Soraya convinces Hamdan to partner up with his brother Marhoun on his project to deliver gas cylinders, with Umm Nassib (Nassib's mother) and Rahuma managing Hamdan’s shop.
Soraya rejects Khalifa's marriage proposal, and when his wife finds out, she quarrels with him. Zahra fears that Majed will not let her take care of her crippled mother after their marriage.
Hamdan and Marhoun continue to work selling gas cylinders and cause a problem in Khalifa's house. Both Soraya and Umm Nassib ask for Zahra's hand in marriage to their sons, but she declines because of her engagement to Majed.
Soraya agrees to marry Khalifa on the condition that his son Majed breaks off his engagement to Zahra so that Khalil can marry her. Umm Nassib opens a charitable association, but Marhoun thinks about returning to his village after failing in his work.
Hamdan is saddened by Soraya's agreement to marry Khalifa, who tries to convince his son to break off his engagement to Zahra. Umm Nassib continues to collect money from the people at the association.
Majed quarrels with Khalil after the latter hit Khalifa. As Hamdan and Marhoun take their new jobs at the gas station, they cause trouble on their first day.
Nassib asks his mother to lend him some money so that he can marry Zahra. The latter and Majed’s wedding takes place, which saddens Khalil and Nassib. Hamdan and his brother think about opening an electrical appliances factory.
Khalifa again proposes to Soraya; Nassib and Khalil open a mobile phone shop; Hamdan and Marhoun decide to open a brokerage office.
Khalil causes customers to switch their phones at the shop. Matters become financially difficult in the association headed by Umm Nassib, who is afraid of being found out.
Marhoun plots with Umm Nassib to deceive the buyer of the land so that he can sell it at the highest price. After Soraya treats her badly, Zahra asks Majed that they move to another house. Quarrels erupt between Khalifa and Soraya after marriage.
As Nassib tells his mother about losing the association’s money in the store, he thinks about opening a real estate office like his father and uncle. Marhoun thinks about marrying another woman and asks Matar to help him with that.
As Soraya asks for a divorce, Khalifa bargains with her to get his money back in exchange for the divorce. Marhoun decides to return to his business of selling belts in the market. Nassib marries Rahuma, while Hamdan marries a woman from the village.
