Wadie is upset about his wife Samiha’s attempt to exploit his new position as Director General of the Authority. The employee Sameh tells him that there's corruption in the authority coming from Hasib and Nazim, who approved a tender for Azzam's company that does not meet the specifications.

Hasib and Nazim try to control Samiha and her son Samer with gifts as a form of bribe to Wadie, but the latter refuses. Haitham falls in love with Faten, while she likes Alaa.

Nazim and Hasib succeed in deceiving Sameh and getting him to take leave from the authority so that the coast will be clear for them. Alaa proposes to Faten, and Lama asks Samer to formally propose to marry her.

Samiha rejects her son's request to let him propose marriage to Lama, while Alaa helps him get a job without his father Wadie's knowledge. The latter gets close to his secretary Safaa, and Alaa lavishes Faten and her mother with gifts, which angers Wadie.

It turns out that Azzam put Alaa in Faten's way to cause her father Wadie to incur debts, and Samiha continues to receive large sums of money from Alaa to finalize his marriage to Faten.

Wadie discovers Alaa's relationship with Azzam when Alaa asks him to approve the tender that Azzam submitted to the authority, and he is surprised to find out that he is Azzam's driver and not a businessman as he claimed.

Samiha tries to negotiate with Alaa about her daughter's divorce from him and his paying her a large sum of money in exchange for convincing Wadie to agree to the tender. Haitham seeks to help Samer pay off Alaa's money.

Safaa convinces Wadie to agree to the tender in order to save himself from ruining his life, but Sameh's return to work puts Wadie in a big problem.

Wadie marries Safaa, and Hasib and Nazim think about exploiting this to their advantage and informing Samiha about it. Azzam seeks to get Sameh out of the country until the tender is completed.

Azzam tries to convince Sameh to work with him, but his refusal causes his death in a planned car crash. Wadie discovers that Safaa’s working for Azzam, and the police arrest Wadie.
