The bumbling and arrogant chorus boy Stanley Snodgrass gets his chance at fame on Broadway when he takes the place of a lead actor who has been threatened by a notorious killer. Unbeknownst to Stanley, the police are using him as bait to catch the killer, while Detective Logan disguises himself as Stanley's valet.
