A love story develops between cartoonist Linda and policeman Jimmy, whom she chooses to be the voice of one of her characters in an animated film. They get married after that, but they soon separate when Jimmy is insulted at the film's premiere. However, he changes his mind when he discovers that Linda is expecting a child.
