Ghada asks her brother Alaa to accompany her on a trip to manage their land, but he apologizes because he is busy with his work at the university, so she agrees with their servant Saleh to travel with her, while the maid Zahra tries to convince her to accompany her on the trip.
Ghada tries to persuade Alaa to marry the wealthy Nazli, but he refuses because he loves his university student, Hanadi, who is forced by her brother Hani to work with him in the store. Meanwhile, Saleh hides his love for Ghada from everyone.
Alaa tells his uncle Imad about his love for Hanadi, and his fear that his sister will pressure him to give up his inheritance if he marries her. Zahra tells Imad that she loves Saleh, so he convinces her to try to make Saleh jealous.
Mamdouh, Hanadi's university colleague, feels jealous of Alaa's closeness to her. Ghada accuses Zahra of stealing her gold bracelets, and insists on kicking her out in order to distance her from Saleh.
Alaa visits Hani's shop to get to know him, and tries to convince Ghada to accept his marriage to Hanadi, but she continues to reject because of the social and financial difference between them.
Saleh insists on leaving work for Ghada's family after Alaa treated him inappropriately, but Ghada's illness makes Alaa apologize to Saleh and ask him to stay, and Alaa suggests that she see a psychiatrist.
Ghada asks Saleh to collect information about Hanadi, then she meets her brother Hani and visits him in his shop. The latter claims that he is a major merchant.
Hani tries to bribe Saleh so that he does not tell Ghada and Alaa about his claim that he is a big merchant. Despite this, Alaa insists on taking Imad and Ghada to propose to Hanadi and confronts them with a fait accompli.
A simple engagement party is held for Alaa and Hanadi, and Hani tries to get closer to Ghada out of greed. He asks his sister Hanadi to help him marry Ghada, while Imad asks the latter to buy a house for Zahra so she can get married there.
Hanadi and Alaa get married, and Ghada asks the latter to spend the honeymoon vacation on the farm and not travel abroad.
Imad asks Ghada to treat Hanadi in a decent way, and the latter decides to look for work so that Ghada will not control her brother’s expenses. Lotfi tells Alaa of his desire to marry Ghada.
Ghada asks Saleh to collect information about Lotfi, while Hani continues to devise his plan to marry Ghada, and the wedding of Hanadi's friend Salwa is held.
An argument takes place between Hanadi and Alaa, and the latter asks her to keep her brother Hani away from Ghada. Alaa refuses to have Hanadi publish a book about his family, so Ghada incites Alaa to force his wife to have children and not work, otherwise he will marry another woman.
As Hanadi refuses to have children amidst Alaa's family's tension, she asks Alaa to leave home and be independent from Ghada, who becomes certain that Hani is defrauding her in business.
Ghada bargains with Hani not to ask him for her money in exchange for pressuring Hanadi to have children, so the latter leaves the house and asks her brother to pay Ghada's money.
Alaa tries to fix things between Ghada and Hanadi, and asks the latter to return home, but she refuses and Alaa is forced to stay with her at her brother Hani’s house.
Hanadi becomes pregnant and gives birth, after which Ghada asks her to return home, while she convinces Alaa to run the farm.
Ghada transfers ownership of the new project with Hani to Alaa and Hanadi. Saleh confesses his love to Ghada and asks her to marry him and travel with him to complete his education abroad, but she refuses.
