In a flashback, Jan refuses his brother Aber's partnership with him, so Aber burns down the factory and Jan dies. After 30 years, Aber takes over the guardianship of Ayoub, Jan's son, due to his incompetence, which ignites disputes between Aber and Sabah, Ayoub's mother.
Aber tries to convince Ayoub to agree to sell his father’s house. Sabah is surprised by the return of her son Ahmed with his wife Zainab, who is several years older than him. Zainab seeks to work as a teacher with Khaled, while Ayoub’s house is robbed.
Hind scolds Khaled for hiring Zainab at the school, and Sabah asks her relative to gather information about Zainab’s family. A dispute breaks out between Sabah and Aber when he insists on selling the house, and Sabah surprises him by revealing that there is a brother for Ayoub.
Ayoub becomes hysterical when he learns that he has a twin brother named Yaqoub. Habeeba becomes angry when Hind approaches her young son. A wedding is held for Zainab and Ahmed, and Sabah discovers that Zainab has been married before.
In a violent confrontation, Sabah scolds her son for his previous marriage to Zainab, who is in agreement with Aber against Sabah in exchange for not exposing the nurse Nora. Aber confirms to Ayoub the death of his brother Yaqoub.
Aber decides to search for Yaqoub and files a report about it. Zainab starts her first day at school. Hind is taken to the hospital because of a hemorrhage and has her uterus removed. Ayoub is fired from his job.
As Zainab arrives at nurse Nora’s place and tries to pressure her to know where her son is, Khaled discovers that Hind is spying on his phone. Aber agrees with Ayoub to setup a company.
Saleh visits Hind in the hospital and expresses his love for her. Ahmed tells Sabah tha Hind’s miscarriage and hysterectomy were caused by her taking herbs from a charlatan. Zainab continues to search for her son. Abdullah tries to convince Sabah to sell the house and end the problems with Aber.
Sabah is shocked when she receives a notice that Ayoub has filed a lawsuit against her to divide the inheritance and announce Yaqoub’s death, and she quarrels with Aber for inciting him to do so.
Aber is furious when Sabah proves her ownership of the house, and she confesses to Abdullah that she forged the ownership contract to protect her children’s rights. Zainab decides to separate from Ahmed because of his suspicions about her.
Abdullah leaves the house and divorces Sabah. Zainab records a confession that she forged all her academic certificates and hands it over to Aber to help her find her son.
Sabah tries to convince Ayoub not to sell the house. Zainab agrees with Aber to put spoiled chicken in Sabah's kitchen and report it to the police. Zainab's extreme closeness to the child Badr causes his mother to prevent him from going to school.
After Sabah is arrested, Sami harasses Habeeba, who throws a flammable substance at him and the police arrest her. Abdullah finds an old ad for the search for the child Yaqoub and notices clothes same as his in Sabah's box.
Saleh suspects that Aber is behind what happened to Sabah. As Aber seeks to prove Habeeba's innocence and release her, he tries to bargain with Sabah by giving up the house in exchange for her release from prison. Zainab is upset when Badr is transferred to another school.
Sabah is transferred to the hospital after her health deteriorates. Aber tries to negotiate with Sami to drop the case against Habeeba in exchange for money. Abdullah finds a skeleton buried in the wall of the house and he confesses his own guilt to the spoiled food case.
Zainab is forced to tell Khaled the story of her son Badr and threatens that if he reveals her secret, she will tell his wife about his relationship with Hanan. Sabah is released from prison after Abdullah confesses, and she contacts the victim's family to accept the blood money.
Zainab blackmails Aber with a video of him buying spoiled chicken and asks him to find out where her son is. Zainab incites Hind against Ayoub and Habeeba, convincing her to file a lawsuit to become the guardian of their son Salem due to their incompetence.
Habeeba gets angry when she learns that she has been fired from her job. Hind discovers that Khaled has a different phone than his. Abdullah dies in prison. Zainab confronts Umm Badr and reveals that she is Badr's real mother.
An anonymous person files a report about Ahmed performing a hysterectomy on Hind without her knowledge. When Hind discovers the matter, she collapses, and a quarrel erupts between Habeeba and Hind over the child, Salem.
Mansour, Badr's uncle, discovers that Zainab has been watching him. Ahmed is suspended from work, so Zainab asks him to return to Egypt. Meanwhile, the doctor diagnoses Aber with Alzheimer's disease. Sabah fears that someone will discover the body buried in the house wall.
After meeting Zainab, Mansour decides to do a DNA test to confirm that she is Badr's mother. As Aber begins his treatment journey for Alzheimer's, Hind tells Hanan's father about his daughter's relationship with Khaled.
Ahmed discovers that Zainab deceived him and did not travel to Egypt. Hind presents evidence that Habeeba and Ayoub are not eligible to have custody of Salem. Aber discovers that Yaqoub was buried in the wall of the house and that Ayoub was the one who killed him. Aber proposes to Sabah.
Aber removes Yaqoub's remains from the house and buries them far away. Sabah agrees to sell the house, Hind obtains temporary custody of Salem, and Mansour receives the DNA test and confirms that Badr is not Zainab's son, causing Zainab to collapse.
Khaled divorces Hind, who wins custody of Salem, after which she asks Saleh to marry her. Zainab returns to search for her son and asks the nurse, Nora, to help her obtain papers proving that Badr is not Fatima's son.
Sabah quarrels with her daughter over her divorce from Khaled. Hind decides to transfer Salem from school, and Sabah insists on Ahmed divorcing Zainab, who is still searching for her son.
Zainab exploits the secret of Sabah's marriage to Aber and threatens to expose Sabah if she doesn't help her return to Ahmed. Then she discovers that the son of Fatima's maid is her son. Habeeba's attitude causes Salem to refuse to return to her.
Ahmed helps Zainab hire a lawyer to look into her son's case. Sabah hands over the house to Aber after selling it. Ahmed proves that Hind is unfit to have custody of Salem. As Ayoub agrees to donate his kidney to Aber's son, Aber asks him not to tell anyone.
Sabah is enraged when she learns that her son donated his kidney to Aber's son, Walid. Nurse Nora testifies in favor of Zainab in court. Hind reveals to Saleh that she burned down Habeeba's house to gain custody of Salem. Sabah tells Aber's wife that she's married to him.
Aber's health deteriorates due to Alzheimer's disease. Sabah discovers that he is behind the spoiled food, the burning of the factory, and the death of his brother inside it. Zainab takes her young son and agrees to let the maid who raised him stay with him. Hind treats Salem harshly.
Sabah reveals to Ahmed everything that Aber and Zainab did previously, so the police arrest Zainab. Saleh discovers that Hind put a tracking device in his car and confronts her about it. Salem refuses to stay with her after she spied on him, and returns to his parents.
