Pepe, a young Mexican man, learns that the white horse he adores and regards as a buddy on the ranch where he works has been purchased at auction by a powerful figure in the film business and will be shipped right away to California. After that, he sets out on an insane quest to get the horse back to Hollywood, where he encounters a number of famous people.
