Hazem works as an accountant in a tax company and exploits loopholes in the company to profit. He suffers from many pressures due to the large number of debts and installments that he is unable to pay.
Mohsen Morgan, the owner of the tax office, promotes Hazem, doubles his salary exaggeratedly, and gives him all the files of suspicious clients. Major Omar monitors the office, especially Hazem, and asks for Salma's help, Hazem’s wife, after she becomes suspicious of her husband’s work and his salary increase.
Hazem goes to a psychiatrist and tells him about the dreams he is having. He becomes more immersed in his suspicious work and his wealth increases. Salma takes one of his files and gives it to Major Omar in an attempt to help her husband stop these actions.
Salma and her family's suspicions increase due to the great financial boom in Hazem's life, and the latter tries in his dreams to get rid of Al Kayyal and Jalal so that he can reach El Rossi.
Omar meets Mohsen Morgan, who is surprised by his question about Mustafa Barakat, who had died in a mysterious accident. Hazem buys a new house and asks Salma to move in, and Hazem loses his son Hamza.
Al Kayyal is arrested and Jalal escapes. Hazem and Donia meet El Rossi to agree on a job between them. Hazem discovers from Donia that he has been taking a new type of drug for two months that was manufactured by them and that might be the reason for the dreams and hallucinations he sees.
Jalal kidnaps Donia and sets conditions for Hazem to release her. The latter succeeds in saving her, while Jalal is killed by Anwar's men.
Salma tries to convince Hazem that dreams represent his life and memories he's trying to forget and that Asaf is a fake name he made up to transfer suspicious money to him. Omar monitors Salma and Hazem and discovers information about the new drug that causes memory erasure and destroys the nervous system.
Donia and Anwar go to Hazem, who discovers that they along with Mohsen agreed on everything so that Hazem would forget his past, so he decides to cooperate with Omar to bring them all down.
Omar cooperates with Hazem to bring down Mohsen and all the suspicious agents. It's revealed that everything Hazem did before the death of his son was in agreement with Omar. Omar tells Hazem that the condition he suffers from is due to schizophrenia and the drug that Donia was putting in his food.
In a flashback, Hazem and Mohsen meet, and the former moves from his job at the bank to work as an accountant at Mohsen's company. Donia agrees with Anwar to get rid of Hazem. El Rossi kidnaps Donia and tells her about his plan to deceive the police.
In order to secure her life, Hazem opens an account in Salma's name containing a large sum of money and asks her to withdraw the money and deposit it in another account outside the country. As Hazem's drug withdrawal symptoms worsens, he notifies Omar of the drug delivery date.
The police discover the disappearance of a group of pharmacists, all of whom are connected to Donia. Faten helps Salma transfer the money and tells her that she will protect her. El Rossi sees Hazem and Omar together.
As Hazem discovers that El Rossi is Youssef, the prominent university professor, he finds Faten murdered. Salma and her daughter disappear. Salah informs on Mohsen and hands over all the suspicious cases in his office to the police. Anwar kills El Rossi before being arrested.
The police arrest all the drug dealers after Salah Abu Al Magd cooperates with them. Mohsen escapes after transferring all El Rossi's money to himself. Hazem kills Anwar while Salma shoots Donia. Hazem returns to Salma and his daughter.
