In the Netherlands, two orphaned children are separated from their adoptive parents when a powerful storm causes a raging flood through their small town. They hide with their pets in an abandoned building, but have no way to safely cross the dangerous waters, until a sea captain takes them on his boat and tries to help them reunite with their parents.
