A girl and her brother find a mysterious egg, and a baby dinosaur emerges from it. But it escapes them, so they must reach it before a documentary film crew arrives. They meet two men who know more about the dinosaur's origins, and together they work to return it to its homeland so that it will not be exploited in our world.
