Nikki and her ex-husband Jason work at the Missing Persons Unit in the Philadelphia Police Department. As they investigate cases and try to reunite missing people with their loved ones, they seek to unravel the mystery of their own son's disappearance.
The Missing Persons Unit team continues its tasks in retrieving missing persons, returning them to their families, and arresting the kidnappers. This season, a new member joins the team.
