Basma lives with her mother, Seham, and her stepfather, the drug addict, Obaid, who constantly beats Basma in front of her mother. When the teacher, Maryam, finds out about this, she tries to help her.

Maryam apologizes for not attending her sister's wedding and gets her dream job as a photographer but changes her plans after finding baby Basma in a trash bag.

Maryam and Basma decide to escape from the city and make everyone believe that Basma had drowned. Maryam names her Hala. Fatima, Maryam's biological mother, is released and meets her without her knowing that she is her mother.

Maryam asks Noura for financial help after her bag is stolen. Fatima thinks that Basma is Maryam's daughter, while Amer takes over Basma's disappearance case and tries to contact Seham and Obaid, but Obaid refuses.

Maryam is forced to lie to her two sisters that Basma is her daughter and that she has married in secret. Obaid threatens to leave Seham if she continues searching for her daughter. Maryam meets Fatima after she helps Basma with her illness.

Maryam takes Basma to her family's home and introduces her to Noura. Obaid forces Seham to confess to Basma's death and hold a funeral for her. Fatima discovers Basma's secret.

Amer meets Basma and gets to know her. He threatens Maryam to reveal the truth. Maryam is forced to tell Fatima what she did to Basma and they run away together.

Fatima decides to confront Amer and threatens to kill him if he does not stay away from Maryam and Basma. Obaid decides to leave the house for fear of discovering that he had tortured Basma, and Seham suspects Maryam's connection to her daughter's disappearance.

Maryam takes Fatima to the hospital due to her illness, and during a confrontation with Amer, he admits that he had pressured her to test her sacrifice. Obaid returns to Seham's house and questions her actions.

Seham agrees to travel with Obaid to his brother's house in Riyadh, and Fatima gets close to Maryam and helps her enroll Basma in a school.

Seham meets Maryam to try to find out about her past relationship with her daughter, Basma, and discovers from her phone call that her daughter is with her. Razan discovers that she is pregnant with a deformed fetus.

Maryam is forced to tell her family what she did to Basma. Fear grips Basma and she leaves the house. On Seham's first day at work at the café, a problem occurs, and the police arrest her and Obaid. Meanwhile, Abdulaziz convinces Razan to have an abortion.

Fatima helps Maryam search for Basma and gets Seham out of prison. She tries to get Amer to help her find Basma. Maryam also reveals a surprise to Razan and Lamar that she is not their sister.

Maryam and Basma are forced to leave Noura's house, and Seham arrives at their new place in the hotel. Fatima is involved in a car accident, and Amer discovers that she is Maryam's real mother.

Maryam visits Fatima in the hospital and tells her about her mother leaving her with Noura. Seham contacts Amer to express her desire to see her daughter Basma and promises him to leave her in Maryam's care.

Amer contacts Khadija, Seham's aunt, to check on her psychological state towards Basma. He tries to convince Maryam to let her see her daughter, but Seham manages to reach Fatima's place, where Basma is.

Khadija tells Amer Seham's story after the death of her first husband, Khaled, and her struggles raising Basma. When Seham meets her daughter, Basma refuses to hug her and tells her that her daughter has died.

In a flashback, Seham marries Obaid, who soon begins abusing and beating Basma. In the present, Maryam tries to convince Seham to fix her relationship with Basma, but she decides to leave everything behind.

After an argument with Abdulaziz over her refusal to have an abortion, Razan is taken to the hospital, where Noura discovers her pregnancy. Obaid is released from prison and quarrels with Seham, discovering that Basma is alive with Maryam.

Obaid treats Seham harshly, Maryam decides to stay away from Fatima and rents an apartment to live in with Basma, and Noura confronts Abdulaziz about his secret marriage to Razan.

Obaid seeks to find a job for Seham. In a three-way confrontation between Fatima, Noura, and Maryam, Noura tries to distance Fatima from Maryam after discovering that she is her biological mother. Noura also confronts Abdulaziz about Razan's pregnancy and his insistence on an abortion.

Seham receives a call from Khadija and decides to stay with her. She takes Basma from Maryam to the house of Obaid's brother, Imad, who advises Obaid not to have the girl with him to avoid reporting him to the police for his mistreatment of her.

Noura and Lamar seek to support Maryam in her grief over Basma's estrangement, while Seham tries to get closer to her daughter. Imad blackmails Maryam financially, and Fatima seeks help from Umm Fahd to find Seham and Basma. Razan decides to separate from Abdulaziz.

Imad continues to drain Maryam financially because of Basma, and after Seham takes a new job at the café, Obaid causes her to be fired. Fatima tries to convince Seham to return Basma to Maryam.

Obaid quarrels with Imad after discovering his contact with Maryam and agrees to let her see Basma. The café manager fires Seham again after the police search for her.

Obaid blackmails Maryam financially and promises to let Basma live in Riyadh. Meanwhile, the social worker tries to contact Basma to find out about her condition, so Basma is forced to pretend to be satisfied with Seham to protect Maryam.

Amer warns Maryam not to give Obaid any money. Maryam refuses to allow Fatima to help her.

Noura is saddened by the sale of the farm to help Maryam, and Fatima is surprised by a visit from her mother-in-law, Umm Salem. Amid a quarrel between Seham and Obaid, Mona shoots and kills Imad, and Seham and Obaid are taken to the hospital.

Noura tries to reclaim the farm. Seham leaves the hospital to find refuge in Fatima's house, while Maryam considers running away again with Basma. Umm Salem pressures Fatima to find out how she killed her son.

Razan is involved in a car accident after her problems with Abdulaziz escalated. Things worsen between Noura and Maryam because the latter insists on fleeing the country with Basma's help.

Umm Salem discovers that Maryam is her granddaughter, and Officer Mazen summons Maryam to testify in the case of Obaid and Seham. Umm Abdulaziz tries to convince Noura to cause Razan to have a miscarriage and get rid of her sick fetus.

Maryam denies knowing Imad and Basma in front of Officer Mazen. Seham lives with Fatima and gets to know Umm Salem, while Razan gets closer to Badr despite Abdulaziz’s attempts to get back together.

When news of Basma's disappearance spreads, Maryam tries to hide her. However, Seham surprises them in front of the hospital and accuses Maryam of kidnapping her daughter in front of Officer Mazen.

Fatima tries to seek Umm Fahd's help to smuggle Maryam and Basma out of the country, while Obaid wakes up from his coma and harshly kicks out Seham, telling her to stay away from him. At the same time, Officer Mazen interrogates Noura, who denies any knowledge of Basma's kidnapping.

Seham's suffering worsens after Obaid abandons her and she finds herself alone. Meanwhile, Razan loses her fetus, to the shock of her family. Maryam devises a plan to leave the country with Basma, with Fatima's support, and is surprised by Noura's encouragement to escape.

Seham fails to get Obaid back to her, while Noura reclaims the farm. Fatima reveals to Maryam the cruelty of her past, while the police succeed in reaching Maryam after her photos are published in the news.

Maryam is interrogated after being arrested, while Fatima tries to save her by confessing to kidnapping Basma. Meanwhile, Seham gets involved in a new crisis with Faleh due to her addiction to tranquilizers.

Seham regains custody of her daughter Basma and finds temporary shelter in Abu Talal's house, while Noura strives to support Maryam and work to get her out of prison.

Seham seeks Umm Talal's help to welcome the Child Protection Committee at her home, but she has a break down and hits Basma after Obaid refuses to return to her. Meanwhile, Razan and Abdulaziz are surprised to discover that their fetus is healthy and not sick as they had thought.

Umm Muqrin takes Basma to visit Maryam in prison, while Officer Mazen interrogates Seham after receiving a letter from Basma revealing all the torture and abuse she was subjected to at the hands of her mother.

Obaid makes a deal with Noura to pay a large sum of money in exchange for Seham dropping the case against Maryam, while Basma is placed in an orphanage.

Seham agrees to drop the case against Maryam and withdraw the complaint, on two conditions: removing Basma from the orphanage, and increasing the amount of money paid to Obaid.

Maryam is released from prison after withdrawing the complaint, while Mazen tries to uncover the reason behind Seham's sudden withdrawal. Meanwhile, Fatima's health deteriorates, and she refuses treatment despite the seriousness of her condition.

Basma leaves the orpahnge and goes to Maryam, who reprimands Fatima for her insistence on refusing treatment. Maryam then agrees with Mazen to return Basma to the orphanage to protect her interests.

Obaid forces Noura to return Basma to her mother, Seham, while Mazen tries to confront Fatima with the truth about her husband's past murder to reveal the secret she is hiding.

Maryam blames Noura for paying money to Obaid to get her out of prison, while Obaid continues to blackmail Noura financially, quarrels with Seham and assaults her, then returns to treating Basma with extreme cruelty.

Maryam offers Seham a sum of money in exchange for giving up her daughter Basma to her, while Amer reveals a big surprise to Maryam that Fatima is the one who killed her husband, Maryam's father.

Obaid tries to force Seham to sell her daughter to Maryam, so she beats him and runs away with Basma and seeks refuge with Maryam, which ignites Obaid's anger, who decides to get rid of her.

Obaid becomes furious after Mazen warns him not to approach Maryam and threaten her. Seham continues to stay at Noura's house and asks Abu Talal to help her find a new place to live in.

Noura reveals to Seham that Maryam is not her daughter and that Fatima is her biological mother. Obaid reaches Seham and kidnaps Basma.

Seham asks Abu Talal to help her with her crisis with Obaid. Abu Fahad asks Noura to end their partnership. Maryam confronts her grandmother, Umm Salem, with the truth about Fatima killing her father. Obaid leaves Basma with his friend Maha.

Abu Talal supports Seham in her attempt to get her daughter back, while Obaid detains Basma in Maha's house. Maha offers to marry him as a temporary husband so she can return to her ex-husband. Obaid returns to blackmail Maryam financially.

Maryam agrees to pay Obaid the money, but a heated argument breaks out between him, Seham, and Maryam, which ends with him being stabbed. Obaid then kidnaps Basma and flees.

Basma manages to escape from Obaid's clutches and calls for help from a passerby who takes her to the police station, while Obaid flees. Maryam tries to support Seham in searching for Basma.

Amer confesses his love to Lamar, while Razan gets angry at Maryam, blaming her for Noura's loss of her company. A harsh confrontation ensues between Obaid and his mother for abandoning him as a child, while Mazen expresses his admiration for Maryam.

Noura convinces Fatima to return home. Seham tells Obaid that she is pregnant, but he believes she is cheating on him. He quarrels with his stepfather and throws him out of the house.

Obaid tries to set a trap for Maryam to take revenge on her, but a car accident happens to her and Mazen. Meanwhile, Obaid's mother prevents her son from getting rid of Basma.

Maryam undergoes a dangerous operation and is temporarily paralyzed. When Obaid regains consciousness, he turns to Maha again.

Maryam decides to leave Basma and bid her farewell, and Seham seeks refuge with Abu Talal again after being kicked out of the house.

Maryam falls into a coma, and a year later, she believes Basma has died. Meanwhile, Obaid lives with Srham and their son, Hassan, in a modest home, and Basma is forced to care for her brother and drop out of school.

Umm Salem forgives Fatima. Fatima discovers by chance that Basma is still alive and seeks to find out where she is.

In a flashback, it becomes clear that Noura deceived everyone and told them that Basma died in an accident. In the present, Fatima confronts Noura with her lie.

Maryam decides to adopt an orphan girl, and Amer refuses to let Lamar work in the same institution where he works. On the other hand, Badriya, Seham's neighbor, decides to help Basma because of her mother's constant neglect of her and the child Hassan.

Fatima tries to help Basma indirectly, while Seham collapses in anger after learning that Obaid's relationship with Maha is back. She tries to contact Abu Talal, but he cuts ties with her. Meanwhile, Amer decides to postpone his marriage to Lamar.

Badriya takes Basma to a foster home to report Seham's neglect, where Hassan receives treatment. Meanwhile, Seham begins a new job as a singer in a café.

Maryam tries to mend Amer's relationship with Lamar, but she is surprised by Jawaher, an employee who seeks to halt her adoption process. Basma feels sad, believing Maryam has forgotten her, and Fatima reveals to Mazen that Basma is still alive.

Noura tries to convince Mazen to keep the fact that Basma is still alive a secret so as not to shock Maryam. Badr returns, trying to get close to Razan again, and Fatima insists on completing what she started in helping Basma.

After Lamar attempts suicide and is taken to the hospital, Maryam discovers while observing Fatima that Basma is still alive.

A flashback reveals Noura's agreement with Seham to fabricate Basma's death, arrange a funeral, and create a fake grave for her. Maryam collapses after waking up from a coma when she hears the news of her death.

In a flashback, we see how Seham fulfilled her agreement with Noura and deceived Mariam by claiming Basma's death. In the present, a confrontation erupts between Maryam and Fatima after Maryam discovers that the truth was hidden and that Basma's death was falsely claimed.

The police arrest Obaid after he assaults Seham's former manager. Noura collapses and is taken to the hospital after Maryam discovers that Basma is still alive. However, Basma refuses to contact Maryam despite missing her.

Amer listens to Fatima's conversation with Umm Salem and discovers that Basma is still alive. Maryam decides to meet Basma secretly away from Seham, at the same time that Obaid is released from prison.

Seham quarrels with Obaid because he caused her to be fired from her job, while Maryam follows up with Mazen on her medical tests to deal with the health crisis she is going through.

Maryam tries to contact Seham for Basma's benefit and asks her to meet her. Amer prepares to travel to start his job.

Lamar gives Amer the choice between traveling to take up her new job or continuing their relationship, while the doctor tells Maryam and Mazen that she will recover. Obaid discovers that Seham had deceived him by borrowing money from his mother.

Obaid assaults Seham, forcing her to place her son Hassan in a foster home for his protection, while Mazen decides to inform Maryam of Noura's deception regarding the claim of Basma's death.

Things get tense between Maryam and Mazen, and she leaves the house. It turns out that Seham left the child Hassan in the care of her neighbor Badriya, so Basma takes him in.

Seham gets angry when Hassan disappears from Badriya's house and accuses Maryam and Noura of kidnapping him and Basma, while Obaid threatens to kill Mazen.

Suham gets furious and goes crazy because she failed to find Basma and Hassan and accuses Fatima of conspiring with Maryam to kidnap them.

Seham beats Basma after she returns home. Noura tries to mend the situation between her and Maryam, and Obaid kidnaps the latter.

Badriya advises Seham to seek divorce from Obaid after he is accused of kidnapping Maryam, and Fatima tries to contact Basma again.

Seham suffers severe pain due to Obaid's beating, and Badriya takes her to the hospital. Noura is still trying to contact Maryam, and Lamar discovers that Fatima is accused of killing her husband.

The relationship between Maryam and Noura improves, while Seham confronts Obaid for assaulting Maryam and attempting to kidnap her.

Seham decides to stay away from Obaid and seeks help from Maryam, while Lamar confronts Fatima with the truth about her innocence of the murder charge, revealing Maryam's role as a child in setting her father on fire.

Noura buys a house for Seham and her daughter on the condition that she stay away from Obaid, who is in prison and angry because Seham does not visit him. Badr plans to propose to Razan.

Seham returns to her job as a singer, and amid everyone's joy, Noura falls and dies in the hospital, and everyone is overwhelmed with sadness.

After Obaid is released from prison, Seham's life is threatened again, but Mazen takes over monitoring him to stop his evil.

Maryam has a breakdown after discovering that she was the cause of her father's death when she was a child, not Fatima. Meanwhile, Obaid tries to convince Seham to sell the house that Noura gifted her before her death.

Obaid quarrels with Seham and locks her up with Basma in the house. Basma escapes with her brother Hassan, and Seham shoots Obaid.

The police interrogate Seham, and she is sentenced to prison. Maryam takes care of Basma and Hassan until Seham serves her sentence.
