Mara escapes a pearl-diving community on Aquatania to avoid marriage to the high priest, who impersonates Baloo. Baloo's minions take Mara to the island's temple after Tarzan takes her to Jane's mansion. Tarzan rescues Mara and marries her fiancé, Tico, after the high priest and trader Fargo agree to seize the island's treasure.
